Some very sad news. I learned yesterday that my friend Malandi Ntozini had passed away in a car accident in South Africa. She was the daughter of my friend Vicky Ntozini, a successful B&B entrepreneur in the squatter camps of Khayelitsha in Cape Town who was murdered by her husband in 2012. Malandi raised her younger siblings and did well in school, completing 2 years of law school before dropping out to help her family. We reconnected in 2022 after many years, and my wife and I sponsored her expenses so she could go back to law school and earn her degree at the University of the Western Cape. She graduated and qualified as an attorney and began working in family law. She gave me hope for South Africa's future. Unfortunately, the roads in South Africa are unforgiving and it is a country that devours its young. I'm trying to find something hopeful to say. Let me try this: Malandi's example, rising from extraordinary deprivation, is an example of the immense potential of South Africa. The end of her life is a reminder of the many challenges to that potential, and how fragile life is everywhere. May her memory be a blessing.

🚨CLASSIFIED SAPS CRIME INTELLIGENCE REPORT ON ILLEGAL FOREIGNERS: HOW ILLEGAL FOREIGNERS SMUGGLE MONEY OUT OF SOUTH AFRICA; [PART 1]

So Lt General Mkhwanazi has now publicly said they are aware that illegal foreigners are using spaza shops as front for organised crime & to syphon money out this country to fund terrorist groups, & that R6 billion has been smuggled out this country by illegal foreigners in just the past 2 years.

I have an internal SAPS Crime Intelligence report, that was initiated by the late former SAPS Deputy National Commissioner Lt General Mfazi working with SAPS Crime Intelligence. This report details amongst other things, exactly how this money is being syphoned out this country.

According to this report, the dominant smugglers of money out of South Africa are Somalians. They operate a "protection fee" scheme amongst themselves. Not even their own Somalian people in South Africa can operate any tuckshops without paying a protection fee.

There's 6 different groups of Somalians in South Africa. The Orgaden, the Hawiye, the Isaaq, the Marjeteen, the Maheran, & the Murasade. The dominant group is the Orgaden & all these other groups, meaning all these other groups have to pay protection fees to the Orgaden tribe to be allowed to operate tuckshops in South Africa.

With this money they collect as protection fees & the profits from tuckshops, the Orgaden group does not use formal banks in South Africa, they have what they call the "Hawala Banking System". The Hawala Bank System ensures no digital proof or paper work is involved in their transactions.

They open up internet cafes as Hawala Bank System fronts to smuggle money. Crypto currency is their latest preferred method of smuggling money out this country. The Orgaden are heavily armed so secrecy is enforced by fear throughout the Somalians in South Africa.

Next I will tell yall how Somalians in South Africa are not even accountable to this country's criminal justice system. Even if they commit any crime even murder amongst themselves, they have their own courts in South Africa & sentences are always fines & never imprisonment, & these courts are ruled by the Orgaden group.

There's an estimated population of over 100 000 Somalians in South Africa, & only 25 000 are documented. South Africa is facing a very organized Somalian hierarchy structure with it's own government, courts & banking systems within this country.

Johan, I respect and even enjoy most of your views, agree or disagree. But like I thought I made it clear. I feel very strongly about this and the mood it puts me in, so here goes, again, in long form:

First off, Starlink is not the only player in LEO. It is the largest and most established, but that does not make it the best, nor the safest. I feel zero desperate need for it, nor any need for competitors and local ISPs to be squeezed out for his benefit.

I said 79% penetration. I said he needs us more than we need him. He is not here to “help.” He wants to be here because of what South Africa represents as a gateway.

I said I do not trust him. I do not given his very clearly stated stance about Black South Africans, 80% of this country & the SAns of other races, white people included who do not buy his BS making it just about everyone. So thoroughly do not trust him with South Africa, that he could be the last provider of the last free drop of water on the planet and I wouldn’t drink it.

I want nothing from a person who sees me, and people who look like me, that way. A person who pines for my subjugation with nostalgia for Rhodesia? I must just be “oh, so super grateful, Baas Elon,” like a stereotypical African with a begging bowl, as if competitors do not exist?

I have just spent 13 days travelling through South Africa with a well-known Dutch friend for research he is doing. From the largest cities to remote Karoo villages, the Bushveld and the Free State, a few perceptions from a foreigner's perspective were clear:
1. South Africa has so much more potential than is currently being exploited.
2. The people are genuinely friendly. Service from petrol stations to supermarkets and restaurants is so much more relaxed, friendly and informal than in Europe.
3. The landscapes, light, routes, nature, animals and communities offer something that you will find nowhere else, but decay (especially with infrastructure) is harming the experience throughout and therefore also hindering growth in tourism in some regions.
4. Most of the South African countryside continues to deteriorate year after year with impassable roads, a huge amount of rubbish dumped everywhere and of course the increase in squatter camps, poverty, unemployment, drug abuse and alcoholism.
5. South Africans often underestimate the mutual friendliness between each other and how a unique way of interacting contributes to a quality lifestyle that is a luxury in many countries where people have become hyper-individualistic.
6. South African supermarkets are among the best in the world with an abundance of affordable fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, etc. and in general South Africans can be grateful for a large supply of good quality locally produced food.
7. The increase in obesity, accompanied by a sharp increase in fast food restaurants and deteriorating eating habits is obvious to foreigners who visit the country sporadically.
8. Urbanisation is out of control. The extent of the increase in squatter camps and the associated problems with crime, pollution, poor service delivery and demographic change are physically visible and should be of great concern to every South African.
9. There is clearly a sharp increase in foreigners (especially from other African countries, Asia and the Middle East) in South Africa and this is visible across the country with shops owned by Pakistanis and people from places like Nigeria, Somalia, China and Bangladesh springing up like mushrooms across the country. With so many South Africans unemployed, this influx cannot be sustainable.
10. Afrikaners have a deep love for our country but feel under immense pressure across the country due to crime, discrimination which makes it impossible for young Afrikaners to find work and thus leads to emigration, the lack of infrastructure which makes economic activities difficult, but especially alienation due to a feeling that the government hates Afrikaners and is actively working against Afrikaners. Afrikaners can and want to play a major role in building our country, but must be allowed to do so with certainty about safety, education, language and cultural rights.
These are my ten (out of many more) conclusions from impressions of a Dutch friend from 13 days of chatting and meeting with many people across South Africa and thousands of kilometers traveled.

What I don’t do
1. I dont drink alcohol, never have & never will - unless its in medication
2. I dont eat junk food
3. I dont like sweet stuff
4. I dont like deep fried food
5. I dont like white coloured carbs

What I do
1. Drink at least 2 litres of water per day
2. Drink protein shake every morning at around 11am pr later
3. Drink sugar-free drinks
4. I hike & am sufficiently active
5. I eat good carbs, the darker the better
