Today, at the Youth Congress Yuva Akrosh Morcha in Margao, I demanded resignation of Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan for the repeated failures and NEET Scam.

If Prime Minister Modi’s promise of “Na Khaunga, Na Khane Doonga” was truly meant to uphold accountability and integrity, then those responsible for the mess that has shattered the dreams of lakhs of students must be held accountable.

Students and parents deserve justice. The nation cannot remain silent when young lives are pushed into despair and several students have reportedly taken their own lives amid the stress, uncertainty and controversies surrounding the examination system.

Education should build futures, not destroy them.

அந்த 3 அதிமுகவினரும் ஆலந்தூர் ஆர்.எஸ்.பாரதி கூறுவது போல் உண்மையிலேயே சூடு,சொரணை உள்ளவர்கள் தான்.

அதிமுகவினரைப் போல் சூடு, சொரணை இருந்தால், காங்கிரஸ், விசிக, கம்யூனிஸ்ட்டுகள் ஆதரவுடன் வென்ற திமுக எம்எல்ஏக்கள் ராஜினாமா செய்ய வேண்டும்.

Modi Govt has sprinkled Petrol to Burn the Savings of common people.

⛽️Between 2004 and 2014, during the UPA, international crude oil prices increased by 175.34%. During Modi Govt, not even a single cent of international crude oil prices have increased.

⛽Despite that Modi Govt. has hiked the petrol prices from ₹71.41 per litre in 2014 to ₹102.12 per litre in 2026, a rise of 43.01%, and diesel prices from ₹56.71 per litre to ₹95.20 per litre, an increase of 67.87%.

⛽Modi Govt. has looted ₹43 lakh crore in the last 12 years, making it a loot of ₹1000 EVERYDAY!

⛽With the 4th time rise in Petrol and Diesel prices, today the shares of HPCL, BPCL and IOC rose by 5.8%, 4.44% and 3.90% respectively. Profit over People is BJP’s DNA!

Every fuel price hike is another blow to household budgets, and has a cascading effect on every aspect of the economy. From Farmers to MSMEs, every strata of the society bears the brunt of BJP’s LOOT.

Attack us if you must, but do not attack the people of TN who voted. Every political party has the right to criticize us, and we will not be provoked by it. But no one should question or disrespect the democratic mandate given by the people of Tamil Nadu.

The people of Tamil Nadu are politically mature and vote with wisdom and clarity.

We consciously chose not to respond to personal criticism against our leaders or our party. If we had wanted to, we could have reminded everyone of the great betrayal of 2014 Lok Sabha elections, after a decade of enjoying key portfolios and power. But we did not.

Knowing well that they have never repeated a government again in TN’s history, we still joined the alliance despite having winning options.

A deeply emotional and historic day for the Congress party in Tamil Nadu.

On the martyrdom anniversary of Bharat Ratna Shri Rajiv Gandhi ji at Sriperumbudur, history has come full circle. After 59 long years, Congress is once again part of the Tamil Nadu Cabinet with the induction of INC MLAs @RajeshKumarSMLA and Thiru P. Vishwanathan as Ministers.

This is more than a political moment. It is a victory of perseverance, ideology and the unwavering commitment of lakhs of Congress cadre and grassroots workers across Tamil Nadu who stood firmly with the party through every difficult phase.

This moment also revives the vision of Late Rajiv Gandhi ji for an inclusive, progressive and people-centric India and the proud legacy of Late Perunthalaivar K. Kamaraj.

Rose in the Lok Sabha to oppose the introduction of the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill, which is a patently illegal and unconstitutional move by this Government.

In 2023, we supported the implementation of women’s reservations from the 2024 General Elections itself, but then the Government did not accede to our demands. Now, they are using women’s reservations to bring in a dangerous delimitation exercise to gerrymander the entire country like they did in J&K and Assam.

A bill that strikes at the heart of our Constitutionally guaranteed federal structure must be withdrawn.
