MEC Khethiwe Moeketsi visited Dingleydale Irrigation Scheme farmers near Thulamahashe after she had visited the group shortly after heavy rains caused devastation in January this year. She also encouraged them to register as suppliers at the Mpumalanga International FoodMarket.

The 2026 Temvelo Climate Change Symposium took place in Secunda, providing a dialogue to translate the National Climate Change Act into action. Issues tackled included Green Finance & jobs, Illegal Mining, Water Security, Environmental Crime, Circular Economy & Just Transition.

The DARDLEA hosted a LandCare Awareness Day focusing on Veld Conditions Improvement for farmers in in Dullstroom, to raise awareness on veld management practices, including rotational grazing, control of invasive alien plants, soil erosion and the rehabilitation of degraded veld.
