Sir Dick, I think we need to educate men more on self-worth and self-respect. Men should not get into relationships based solely on attraction to a woman who offers nothing beyond sex.

As a man, not every woman you find attractive should automatically be considered girlfriend material. You can like someone and still recognize that they are not the right person for you because of differences in values, goals, or outlook on life.

Relationships should be viewed as more than sex and lust. You have to consider personal growth, compatibility, character, and long-term potential.

Also, a lot of men are simps who do not produce value beyond money. If a simp sends a woman ₦500,000 simply because she is beautiful, she becomes conditioned to that behavior. Likewise, a woman who posts a picture and receives hundreds of comments telling her how beautiful she is may begin to see that level of attention as normal, even though, in real life, very few people receive that much attention.

At the end of the day, some men are still the source and creators of the entitlement they later complain about.

This thing is really simple. A fellow student expecting you to carry financial responsibility in the name of relationship, does not love you. We dated in school too. We did not carry anybody's financial responsibility. You are both receiving allowance from home. Why are you using your allowance to fund another student if you're not mad?

To love is to GIVE and to RECEIVE love. Create memories and be there for each other. Spend money on each other base on your capacity not gender. Help each other out where the other is short and lacking. The power of love is in the memories you create together, not on how much you spend.

You're not hopeless. You have a say in the matter. You can choose to date a parasite or have an actual love relationship. You're not a victim.
