Celebrating World Book Day with our amazing nurture children! They came dressed as their favorite characters. We enjoyed reading 'Walking in the jungle' & got creative decorating animal masks. A day filled with fun, imagination, & learning!
After decorating their Christmas tree, the children in Nurture worked together to decorate a bauble in a tuff tray activity . To imbed their learning further, they then decorated their own Baubles. The atmosphere was calm, and the children took pride in their work.

The children in Nurture got their Christmas tree this week, they were excited decorate it. Everyone did well in taking turns and waiting for their turn. They selected the colour they wanted to add and learnt about big and small.

This week we had some very special guests visit us at Nurture, The lovely ladies from SCARF delivered a bespoke workshop for the children in Nurture. The children listened attentively and then took turns to give Harold the giraffe a hand with brushing his hair and teeth.

As part of learning linked to Children in need, the children in Nurture practiced their palmer grasp skills to make spots on Pudsey Bear's bandana. They also decorated biscuits using icing sugar and chocolate.

children in Nurture have been learning about the festival of Diwali. We have decorated a Rangoli pattern using coloured rice and listened to traditional Indian music.

Last half term, the children in Art club got very creative with Mr Fakir they planned and designed their very own masks. The children carefully planned and labelled their mask template and then used their plan to design and decorate the masks. The children loved the outcome!

This week Year 1 and 2 have performed their version of The Magic Paintbrush for parents and the whole school. Children sang, danced, and acted out the story of Shen and her magic paintbrush. #magicpaintbrush#nationalstorytelling
