I go to a lot of schools, and everyone is focusing on metacognition or dual coding or disciplinary this or curriculum intent that. Then I go into lessons, and teachers are asking questions and students are calling out answers or tchrs are picking ones with hands up. Fix that.

@MsGHist Interesting thread! Corridors aren't an issue in my school. Going into classrooms is easy, however I'd not want to disturb lesson flow or teaching+learning by going in. I think this is dependant on individuals, although I think it's vitally important to be seen.

@PrimaryRocks1 @Bett_show Q4: A voice-activated digital pen which allows you to choose colour to highlight, write annotations and a built in microphone to leave verbal feedback on digital work all in one! Would save the faff of having to change things manually on the screen #primaryrocks

@PrimaryRocks1 @Bett_show We're lucky in Wales that we have the Hwb platform which gives access to MS office online, Google Edu software as well as Flip, J2e and more! We've cont'd with Google Classroom since covid to share tasks and ppts - feeling is that it promotes independent learning #primaryrocks

Q2: Making a right old mess on the yard and getting pupils to sort and tidy up. Got some really good discussion points, and a fair few pupils were'nt happy that someone had done that to THEIR yard!#Primaryrocks

Q1: Headspace had an offer for teachers for a while around a year or two ago. Ppls enjoyed a 10 minute daily session, and it was the best 10min "power-nap" without actually sleeping! #Primaryrocks
