@sixringsofsteeI@EnjoyBBall I think Tyler Tanner and Ebuka Okorie are the best sleepers. If they get picked up by a team that’s a good fit, they could be trouble in a few years
@badlyjudge@MasriNBA Clippers the only team that would take Mara there and it’s still a bad pick. If you’re in the top 10 and waste a pick on a 7 footer who doesn’t average 7 rebounds that’s a mistake you’ll just have to live with
Question for anyone who can answer, but this is the most I’ve ever been invested in the draft. Why aren’t any players projected to go before 20 playing in this? Is it injury risk?
@PeachStPayton Don’t fall into the Aday Mara hype. He’s 7 foot 3 and can’t even get you 7 rebounds a game. Also god awful free throw shooter. Root for Mikel Brown, that’s who we need more than anyone. Pray he falls to 8
@femaleatlhawk Neither. We draft one of these crazy talented point guards that they’re offering. Maybe package something with 23 to trade up but Mara is 7’3 and has never averaged 7 rebounds. That’s a red flag
@Preet410_ I feel like I’d draft wagler and Ament. Hell maybe even burries before I draft Mara at 8. If anything trade back to like 14 to take him. 7’3 who’s never averaged 7 rebounds a game in 3 seasons
@sixringsofsteeI The hawks. Instead of rewarding the teams that were obviously tanking, the hawks should get it. Had the number 1 pick once in the modern era and it just so happened to be the worst class ever
@BTRowland@LockedOnHawks Potential/Most likely free agent targets
Also are Cj and Landale the only players with an expiring contract that we should keep?
Hawks Draft Night scenario
Draft night:
#1 Darryn Peterson
#2 AJ Dybantsa
#3–5 Boozer, Flemings, Wilson
6–10: trade back, target Aday Mara
Scenario: Hawks at #6 trade the pick + Corey Kispert to the Miami Heat for Davion Mitchell or future pick + #13… Heat select Darius Acuff , ATL selects Aday Mara
Bro I went to a dream game at State Farm and instead of swag surf they played party in the USA. I’ve never seen a happier crowd. @ATLHawks Learn from this
