If you’re using Google Classroom, don’t assign works using a Word Doc! Convert it to a Google Doc first! It will make everyone’s life easier. #GoogleEDU#edtech
Today I started my 13th year teaching and received certification in my 15th state! I made the move from the classroom to online teaching last fall and it was the perfect timing and such a great opportunity for new experiences. #teachertwitter#edtech
Moving from a classroom teacher to an online instructor has been such an eye opening experience! Never in my career have I worked with so many different courses and levels. I couldn’t imaging teaching the same lesson six times a day again! #edtech#blendedlearning#onlinelearning
@Wootenomics@lhighfill One of the great things about an asynchronous online class is that the learners can take their assessments at the time most convenient to them.
Get in the habit of EDITING THE SUBJECT line when replying to an email thread where you're including new information. Click the tiny triangle next to who you're replying to and "edit subject." #googleEDU
@alicekeeler I had a professor in grad school who required an updated subject line for each reply. I didn’t think so initially, but it really is a valuable practice.
At least through the next 10 days, if you love snow and want to see plenty of it, you have to go to northern New York and New England. I would love to have different news, but early January is going o be far more wet than white. Will continue to monitor potential.
@alicekeeler@lauralovesart Being a poor speller didn’t stop my from earning an MA or being a good educator. (Auto correct fixed my any spelling errors/typos in this post, and grammarly does the same on my work)
I made my school email Green so I can stop accidentally sending emails to principal/parents from my personal email. Go to settings in @gmail and choose a theme.#googleEDU
