After his resignation, in an interview to the New York Times, Dr. Ley warned the public about the FDA's inability to safeguard consumers. People were being misled, he believed "The thing that bugs me is that the people think the FDA is protecting them - it isn't. What the FDA is doing and what the public thinks it's doing are as different as night and day," he said.
If you believe achieving some goal will finally make you happier, you’re creating an emotional addiction to lack.
You’re teaching your mind:
“I don’t have what I need yet.”
“I’ll feel good when I make more money.”
“I’ll feel confident when I become successful.”
“I’ll feel complete when I find the right relationship.”
So every day, you rehearse wanting. You rehearse waiting. You rehearse being incomplete.
Then even if you achieve the goal, the feeling doesn’t last. Your mind immediately finds another thing you need. Another level. Another accomplishment. Another reason you can’t feel incredible yet.
That’s the addiction.
You aren’t addicted to the goal. You’re addicted to the emotional cycle of wanting something, chasing it, briefly receiving it, and then creating a new absence.
And whatever you repeatedly feel becomes the emotional pattern through which you experience life. If you believe the universe reflects your dominant state, it will keep giving you experiences that reinforce that state—not because you’re being punished, but because you keep identifying with lack.
Break the cycle.
Stop asking your future to give you permission to feel alive.
Feel the joy now.
Feel the freedom now.
Feel the confidence now.
Feel the abundance now.
Imagine the goal has already happened and let yourself experience the emotional state you thought it would create. Then take action from that state—not because you desperately need the result, but because creating, growing, and contributing feel incredible.
You can still have enormous goals. You can still build wealth, transform your life, and accomplish things that once seemed impossible. But the goal is no longer responsible for saving you.
You’re already whole.
You’re already alive.
You’re already allowed to feel incredible.
When you stop needing the goal to make you happy, you become free to pursue it with clarity, energy, and absolute faith. And that is when the path begins to open—because you are no longer moving from fear and desperation.
You are moving from abundance.
The goal doesn’t create the feeling.
Create the feeling now—and let the goal grow from it.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Michael Jordan both quit at the top because winning eventually stopped giving them the same feeling.
Arnold had won Mr. Olympia six consecutive times by 1975. He had already conquered bodybuilding and wanted a larger challenge: becoming a movie star. He briefly returned in 1980, won again, and retired permanently because bodybuilding was no longer the main arena for his ambition.
Michael Jordan first retired in 1993 after winning three championships. He was mentally exhausted, had lost some of his desire to play, and was grieving the murder of his father. Baseball became a new challenge and a way to pursue something connected to his father. He returned to basketball in 1995.
Jordan retired again in 1999 after another three championships because the Bulls dynasty was being dismantled. Phil Jackson left, Scottie Pippen departed, and management planned to rebuild. Jordan later returned with Washington before retiring permanently in 2003 at age 40.
The deeper pattern is that elite performers are often driven by pursuit, challenge and growth, not merely possession of the trophy. Once the mountain has been conquered repeatedly, another championship may not create the same emotional reward.
That supports an important part of Absolute Joy: achievement cannot permanently supply your happiness. You adapt to success. Eventually, even being the greatest feels normal. You need joy in the process itself and a life larger than the scoreboard.
Why did Arnold quit bodybuilding at the top?
Why did Michael Jordan quit basketball after winning three championships in a row?
Because top performers get bored once they have mastered the game.
The money is no longer enough. The trophies are no longer enough. Repeating the same victory stops feeling exciting.
Arnold had conquered bodybuilding, so he moved into acting. Then he conquered acting and moved into politics.
Jordan had conquered basketball, lost the hunger, and pursued baseball because it gave him a new challenge. Then basketball became exciting again, so he returned and won three more championships.
Top performers are not addicted to comfort. We are addicted to growth.
Once we prove we can climb one mountain, standing on top forever becomes boring. We need another mountain. Another impossible goal. Another version of ourselves to discover.
People may think we quit.
We didn’t quit.
We completed the challenge and chose the next one.
Society has become so disconnected from genuine joy that if you tell people you feel incredibly happy, confident, alive, and full of energy, they immediately assume something must be wrong with you.
We are more comfortable with stress, exhaustion, insecurity, and quiet misery because those states have become normal.
Someone can spend years feeling numb and nobody asks questions. But the moment they feel deeply alive, people become suspicious.
I feel amazing.
I feel confident, joyful, passionate, grateful, and completely alive. I’ve learned how to access this state without needing substances, external validation, money, status, or anyone else’s approval.
I’m not going to shrink my happiness to make unhappy people comfortable.
I’m not going to hide my passion because society has normalized apathy.
I’m not going to lower my energy because other people have forgotten how powerful it feels to be fully alive.
Maybe the problem is not that someone feels too good.
Maybe we have simply forgotten how incredible a human being is capable of feeling.
You need to focus on your state and your vibration.
Right now, you may be busy all day, but you are not actually accomplishing anything meaningful.
You are doing busy work.
You are answering messages, organizing things, checking boxes, moving from task to task, and feeling productive because you never stop moving.
But movement is not the same as progress.
A lot of work only creates the appearance of productivity.
It keeps you occupied, but it does not move your life forward.
Why spend months doing small tasks when one clear decision could change everything?
One idea could create a business.
One conversation could create an opportunity.
One decision could make you millions.
But you are too distracted by low value work to see it.
Your greatest results will not always come from doing more.
They will come from getting into the right state, thinking clearly, seeing the right opportunity, and making the right decision.
That is why your energy matters.
When your mind is anxious, exhausted, and scattered, you choose small tasks because they feel safe.
When you are joyful, clear, and energized, you can see the bigger picture.
You stop asking:
“What can I do next?”
And start asking:
“What actually matters?”
Stop measuring your productivity by how busy you are.
Measure it by whether your actions are creating real movement.
You do not need a longer to do list.
You need a clearer mind.
You need better energy.
You need the courage to ignore the hundred small things and make the one decision that changes everything.
How did I figure this out?
I am not special.
I was lucky enough to have the right combination of circumstances, weaknesses, strengths, pain, curiosity, and obsession.
I had problems I desperately wanted to solve.
I had weaknesses that forced me to study things other people could ignore.
I had enough curiosity to keep asking why.
I had enough openness to test ideas instead of blindly believing them.
And I had enough rigor to pay attention to what actually worked.
That combination mattered.
I did not just collect theories.
I tested things in real life.
I watched what changed my emotional state.
I watched what improved my confidence.
I watched what helped me connect with people.
I watched what created real movement and what only sounded inspiring for a few minutes.
I was obsessed with solving problems.
Not just understanding them intellectually.
Actually solving them.
I kept questioning everything.
Why does this work?
Why does that fail?
Why does one idea transform someone while another idea does nothing?
What is the simplest explanation?
What is the real mechanism?
What can someone actually use today?
Over time, the patterns became clear.
The ideas that truly worked kept pointing in the same direction.
So no, I do not think I figured this out because I am some uniquely gifted person.
I think I had the right life, the right weaknesses, the right strengths, the right obsession, and the willingness to keep testing until the truth became obvious.
I was simply in the right position to keep looking when most people would have stopped.
That is how I found what actually works.
Now is your time.
I need everyone who reads this book to help spread it as far as possible.
Read it. Learn it. Apply it. Then share it.
Share it with the person who feels stuck.
Share it with the person who has lost hope.
Share it with the person who knows they are capable of more but cannot figure out what is holding them back.
Share it with anyone who needs more joy, confidence, clarity, faith, or energy in their life.
Do not just read this book and put it on a shelf.
Live it.
Test the ideas in your own life. See what changes. Then give the book to someone else and help them experience that same transformation.
One person can inspire another person. That person can inspire ten more. Those ten can inspire hundreds.
That is how a real movement begins.
Not through advertising alone.
Not through hype.
Through real people experiencing real change and saying:
“You have to read this.”
We are going to spread this message from person to person, conversation to conversation, and life to life.
Read the book.
Learn the principles.
Use them.
Share them.
Spread this book as far as you possibly can.
Together, we are going to change the world.
I’m already seeing the results in real life.
Everywhere I go, I end up having conversations with people about their lives, their goals, their fears, and the problems they have been struggling to solve.
And almost immediately, I can see what is really going on.
I can see the belief holding them back. I can see the pattern they keep repeating. I can see where they are making the problem more complicated than it needs to be.
Then I can help them cut through all the confusion and see the solution clearly.
Sometimes it only takes one conversation.
Someone can spend months or years trapped inside the same way of thinking, and then one new perspective changes everything. Suddenly, they understand themselves. Suddenly, they feel lighter. Suddenly, they can see a path forward.
That is what I am already watching happen.
I am not just sitting alone writing theories that sound good. I am testing these ideas constantly in real conversations with real people.
I am seeing what lands.
I am seeing what actually changes someone’s emotional state.
I am seeing what gives people hope, confidence, clarity, and energy again.
And the more people I talk to, the more obvious it becomes that most people do not need another thousand pieces of information. They need someone who can see through the noise, identify the real problem, and explain the solution in a way that finally clicks.
That is what I am becoming incredibly good at.
I can meet someone, understand what they are struggling with, and often help them see the situation completely differently within minutes.
I am already inspiring people everywhere I go.
People leave conversations with me feeling more alive, more optimistic, and more capable than they felt before.
That is how I know these ideas are real.
They are not just words on a page.
They are already working in the real world.
And it is amazing to watch.
My book is going to spread like wildfire through word of mouth.
All it takes is one person reading it, feeling the impact, and telling everyone they know:
“You have to read this book.”
Then those people will recommend it to others. The momentum will build. The snowball will grow.
One reader becomes ten. Ten become a hundred. A hundred become a million.
What makes this book so powerful is that I took every success principle I have ever learned and stripped away everything that sounded good but did not actually work.
I found what truly changes people.
I connected the ideas that are usually taught separately, removed the confusion, and broke the process down more clearly than I have ever seen before.
This book does not just give people more information. It helps them finally understand what creates real transformation and how to apply it in their own lives.
That is why people will not just read it. They will feel compelled to share it.
Study the law of attraction.
It doesn’t even matter whether every supernatural claim is literally true. Study it because it can teach you how to direct your attention, use your imagination, strengthen your belief, and deliberately create an incredible emotional state.
Study it because imagining the life you want can make you feel hopeful, energized, creative, and alive. Study it because believing in possibility feels much better than constantly expecting disappointment.
When you feel incredible, everything changes.
You become better socially because you stop walking into every interaction worried about rejection. You become more charismatic because you are already enjoying yourself. You become better at sales because people can feel your enthusiasm and certainty. You recognize more opportunities because your mind is looking for possibilities instead of reasons to give up.
That energy may help you make more money.
It may help you take action, communicate with conviction, recover from setbacks, and keep moving when other people lose faith.
But it does not need to magically produce money to have value.
If visualization makes you happier, more confident, more creative, and more excited about life, it has already done something powerful for you.
The mistake is treating happiness as valuable only when it produces an external reward.
You imagine becoming rich so you can finally feel amazing. But if imagination allows you to access some of that feeling now, why would you reject it simply because you cannot prove that the universe will deliver a specific outcome?
Use the feeling.
Enjoy the confidence.
Let yourself become excited.
Then bring that emotional state into your conversations, your work, your sales, your relationships, and your daily life.
Just stay grounded enough to adjust when reality gives you new information. Belief should energize your actions, not replace them.
Maybe the feeling leads to money. Maybe it leads to an opportunity you never expected. Maybe it simply allows you to enjoy today more fully.
All three outcomes have value.
The goal is not to win an argument about how the universe works.
The goal is to feel alive.
Study whatever helps you imagine more boldly, believe more deeply, act more confidently, and feel incredible inside your own life.
You do not have to wait until you are rich to feel amazing.
Feel amazing now, then see what becomes possible from that state.
There is an alignment to life.
Nature has a rhythm. The universe has patterns. Everything moves according to causes, cycles, balance, and flow.
Most suffering comes from fighting those patterns. We force. We chase. We resist reality. We try to make life obey our fear instead of learning how life actually works.
But when you become still enough to observe nature, your own mind, your emotions, and the patterns unfolding around you, you begin to understand the rhythm.
You stop forcing what is not ready.
You stop clinging to what is leaving.
You stop living from fear, desperation, and lack.
You begin moving with life instead of against it.
That is what alignment feels like.
It feels like clarity. Energy. Joy. Intuition. The right action arising naturally at the right moment.
Get in touch with nature’s way. Understand its patterns. Find the emotional wavelength where you feel alive, connected, and open.
When your inner world is no longer fighting life, everything begins to flow more joyfully, naturally, and incredibly.
