@LeeDavidEvansUK I consider myself 'liberal' (are you 'illiberal' I wonder?). I don't feel strongly one way or the other about this policy - though I do wonder why the burden of 'volunteering' should fall on 18-year olds. I just think we face bigger problems than an absence of National Service.
@AvaSantina Given the reluctance of the current adminstration to fund much-needed public spending by raising taxes, if we do need to fall back on charity / 'volunteering' then it's not all clear to me why 18 year-olds should pick up the tab.
@SouthernRailUK Can you tell me what we're meant to do if we're travelling to Plumpton please? Staff at Haywards Heath on the 4:38 to Lewes told me to change at Brighton and Lewes. But there are no trains from Lewes to Plumpton either.
@SouthernRailUK Thanks Kirsty. I know the journey I'm trying to make! It's Plumpton to London Terminals. It's just frustrating it appears so far down the list. If I go to VIC tonight will they be able to swap it for the ticket I need? LBG staff could not as different company.
Morning @SouthernRailUK. Why when I search for a ticket to London Terminals does it gives me options in this order? Last night I bought a weekly season to London Thameslink by mistake. This is not valid at Victoria and your website wants ยฃ10 to swap it. They are the same price!

@moving_charlie I would say the strongest (negative) correlation is between the house-price-to-income ratio and real interest rates. But that's not an option...
@moving_charlie It's an odd question. House prices are a nominal concept, and tend to rise over time. They are non-stationary. Real wage growth, by contrast, is stationary. Non-stationary series cannot be correlated with stationary series over long periods of time.
