$ENVX Wow, Raj is gone one day and the entire executive bench comes forth with all of the candor we wanted many quarters ago. I bet that felt as good for them as it did for us (even if there are hard truths). Meanwhile, Raj is SUPER excited about dream-job. This was 100% for the better.
@spenbaker I'll just keep saying it. You're absolutely bonkers, off your rocker, out of your mind, if you're hiring for these jobs and have no POs coming.
Reading this causes me to recall that he said in one of his first ECs that he was prepared to lose his investment, that success would allow him to donate to charity for the tax write off.
He's also said that 80% of his ventures fail, but not on his fuck ups!
And then he posted that Lamborghini video right after π€¦πΌββοΈI could hardly watch.
The fact that TJ had to fire 2 tiers of management tells you how toxic and counterproductive that work culture was. Not encouraging. Work culture and productivity were actually his strengths. Solar is still the future and his narrative "it's hard to see that right now" isn't wrong.
