@KnightspurHouse I must confess, I find Norman architecture to be truly marvellous. While they weren't the first to use stone in England, they were the first to master it on such a colossal, monumental scale, replacing simple timber structures with enduring stone fortresses.
@roman_valois I rather fear that if I were Barry Lyndon, the film would have been exceptionally short and quite aggressively dull; I would have simply taken the cash bribe at the very beginning and retired quietly to the country.
@KULIRAM1976 That man's behaviour was completely uncalled for and ungentlemanly. I must confess, it leaves me feeling utterly melancholic to see how many of my fellow countrymen reject our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
No problem at all. This is actually one of the few aspects of my family history that truly fascinates me. My 5x great-grandfather, James Carnochan of Largies, was one of the primary elders who brought the case forward alongside James Kirkpatrick, as recorded in the official document.
