Each day in education is different.

Some days, it's crazy and hard to get the kiddos motivated. Today was an exceptionally great day with my small group environmental science class. I'm very proud of them! 😎👏🏻👏🏻

Wildflowers planted by some of my Environmental Science students not long ago! Happy 1st day of spring everyone! 🪻🌺 🍀🌹🌞

[Matthew Bell @MrBell_Educator]

Hi Everyone, Mr. Bell here! Sorry that it's been a minute!

Some of my students were able to plant a variety of flowers today! I can't wait to see them grow! Stay tuned!!! 😁

That's one semester down for 2022-2023! And what a GREAT one it was! I have been beyond blessed to be at such a wonderful school with the best staff and students to work with! My heart is happy and I know that I've done well. See everyone again in 2023! 😉

I took my Environmental Science class outside this week to check out some areas where we could see and discuss some "Ecological Succession." The area we found in the picture was perfect because we could see multiple stages of natural growth in one place. It was fun! 🍂☀️🌲

It's Mad Scientist Day here at school for our EOC theme week! I don't know about the "mad" part but I tried to go with the scientist look, haha! 🧪🧬🧑‍🔬

Some Halloween pics featuring myself and some of my students on Monday! 🎃

This week in Environmental Science- We're learning about the transfer of energy from one organism to the next via food chains, food webs, & trophic levels. Here are some of my students working together to create a food web.

Had a student bring cheesecake today! We're listening to our favorite music and enjoying our treat now that we're done with our work for the day. I really needed this, thanks guys! 😁😋

[Matthew Bell @MrBell_Educator]

Thanks for being an awesome principal! We appreciate you! 😁@drkeshajones1

[Matthew Bell @MrBell_Educator]

When you find your twin at work you GOTTA take a picture! 😎😎 We both laughed when we noticed each other's outfit this morning!

Thanks Mr. Jamison for humoring me with taking this photo! At least we can both agree that our teacher style is on point today, haha!👌🏻

My Environmental Science class and I did a project we found on the internet using water energy. It... uh...didn't work... 😬 I'm not 100% sure if it was something we did OR if we shouldn't trust everything that we find on the internet, haha! We had an enjoyable class though! 👍🏻

[Matthew Bell @MrBell_Educator]

GOOD MORNING Eagle's Landing!!!

I was invited to chaperone the "Senior Sunrise" for our seniors extra early this morning, haha! We came together at about 7:00am and watched the sun rise with snacks by around 7:45am. I believe the students enjoyed themselves! I did too! 🌞

[Matthew Bell @MrBell_Educator]

I was sure surprised by this recognition yesterday! I love working with my students and my job as an educator! Thanks to everyone at ELHS who have helped me to start this year off right! 😁

[Matthew Bell @MrBell_Educator]

@DrKeshaJones1 Check out my post from today! We were able to use our solar oven!!! 🌞

[Matthew Bell @MrBell_Educator]

My Environmental Science class finished all of their main assignments on Thursday. So, to take their knowledge a step further, we did a project! We made a solar oven! We hope to test it out next week! Stay tuned!!! 🌞

My Environmental Science class baked home made cookie dough with a Solar Oven today! 🌞 We had fun with the whole process and completed an experiment questionnaire to be able to share their thoughts with the class about the experience. 🍪 🍪 🍪
