I’m going to say the quiet part out loud here which is: we have more than 70 Inspectors General (IG in govt agencies/departments and the IG’s job it is to STOP FRAUD. They typically employ criminal investigators, special agents and auditors…Let that sink in. There is even a Council of Inspectors General above them to oversee the overseers. So all of these people in all of these agencies, every single one of them failed to do their job? And the IG’s whose job it was to make the other IG’s do their job, also failed to do THEIR job? 🚨BREAKING: Rep. Harriet Hageman says a federal consent decree kept Republicans from serving as poll watchers in national elections from the mid-1980s until 2020, and that 2020 was the first time the party could place professional observers in places like Atlanta, Detroit, Milwaukee, and Philadelphia.

“Something else people don't know is that start in the mid-1980s, there was a federal district court judge in New Jersey, who entered a consent decree that Republicans could not be poll watchers. So from mid-80’s until 2020, Republicans were not allowed to be poll watchers on these national elections.

And what happened was that judge eventually died and the Democrats, the DNC, they had to go get that injunction renewed every 5-8 years, something along those lines.

And when that judge died, he was replaced by an Obama judge, and they went back to that judge and they said, we want this consent decree in place making so Republicans cannot be poll watchers and cannot be a part of this process.

And he said, what in the heck are you talking about? This is absolutely so unconstitutional. And he refused to renew that consent decree. He refused to renew that injunction.

So 2020 was one of the first years that we had professional Republican poll watchers in these elections to see what was going on in Atlanta, in Detroit, in Milwaukee, in, you know, in in Philadelphia. It was the first time we were able to really see what was going on in these polling places.

What that tells me is that probably a lot of these shenanigans were been going on for a long, long time, but there were no Republicans there to report on it.”

Seeing a lot of posts and comments from Democrats stating that Kentucky doesn't perform well in many metrics because Republicans have run it into the ground, and Kentucky has been a red state for decades.

Just a quick history lesson.

Total years Kentucky State House was run by Democrats: 152 — 95 years continuously from 1922 to 2016/2017
Total years Kentucky State House was run by Republicans: 14

Total years KY Senate was run by Democrats: 131
Total years KY Senate was run by Republicans: 28

Total number of Democratic governors: 34
Total number of Republican governors: 9

Total years of having a Democratic governor: 140
Total years of having a Republican governor: 32

Total years of Democrats having both chambers and the Governor: 105
Total years of Republicans having both chambers and the Governor: 3

So before you believe someone saying that Kentucky has been run by Republicans for decades and they can't be trusted, remember: Democrats have had complete control of Kentucky for over a century, while Republicans have only had complete control for 3 years, which ended about 7 years ago.
