I’m building temperance. - https://t.co/NbqbwL7IVV
It’ll be my first Apple iOS application.
The purpose of the app is wholesome, the function is simple and the method is effective.
I take it as an opportunity for me to grow as a developer.
Join the waiting list for launch.
This just shows people have no idea what the old British grammar school was like and that that old grammar school formed some of the most exceptional men the world has ever seen.
Instead of just recovering what has been lost and building great schools to win back the youth people resort to whining online. You could be schooling Birbalsingh in how to do schooling well or at least trying to fund such a project but you’re here whining.
@zarahsultana The absolute disrespect of a foreigner who has been privileged ministerial office in another country having the gall to propose the abolishment of an ancient institution to which she has no substantial ties. The astonishing state of Britain.
I’ve added swipe pagination, it gives it that app feel and a better sense of where you are situated in the book. It also seems more encouraging to the reader as they work through this epic history.
@RupertLowe10@frankwrighter He’s a rare talent in that I reckon that he has the ability to actually convert people on the direct opposition as well as easily convince fence sitters or the indecisive.
I’m using Rev Samuel Johnson’s history as the spine for structuring the heritage and history of the Yorubas.
Where there are alternative accounts of events I’m highlighting them.
My aim is to add or refer to other alternative accounts from other sources to try and piece together the deepest Yoruba history where we relied often on oral accounts from various people.
It’s my belief that there are truths to be found even in the oral accounts that seem far fetched, like the account of the Yoruba’s origin being in the East.
I've put out an early release of the WebApp for you to testflight, check it out at:

Keen to hear your thoughts. Bookmark this website because it's only going to continue to develop and mature and will hopefully become a home for people to learn about Yoruba Heritage.
@wandyvirus@TheYorubaTimes@Teephirm You have a point whatever we make needs to be timeless in quality, especially public statues, ornaments, buildings etc
He is right, what ultimately dictates what the discourse has been about regarding black juvenile delinquency is what prevailing policies and legislation have been introduced since. You will observe that the policies introduced are based upon the idea of racism, systemic racism and societal or structural problems that disproportionately effect black peoples. There have been few policies, if any which are toward the restoration, reinforcement or support of parents of families in general or parents of black families in particular.
@Heccles94 Communication breaks down when the meaning of words are twisted and changed.
Your contribution to the conversation becomes unhelpful and stifles progress towards resolution.
@lewis_goodall It's an important question that needs answering though, why pretend like it isn't? It would baffle me if this occurred in Nigeria and no Yoruba teenager was invited to opine and discuss.
