Just taught a lesson on earthquake preparedness to Y8 and they had to go away from the screen to make their own grab and go bags and honestly it’s the happiest I’ve been since working from home. They were so excited!

Started tutor today by posing this scenario to my Ss. Talking to a blank screen can be draining, and a little interaction goes a long way for us teachers and for the students. Brilliant discussion and they all said "have a good day, Miss" at the end.
