My work in this area earned me the NAFDAC Director-General’s Merit Award in recognition of my contribution to the fight against fake food and drugs.

Mr. President, I am not asking for a favour. I am offering competence, experience and a proven commitment to the national interest.

Make me the Director-General of NAFDAC, give me the mandate and the institutional backing, and I will take the fight against counterfeit medicines and unsafe foods to an entirely different level.

Within the first six months, I will target a minimum 60% reduction in the circulation of counterfeit and substandard medicines and unsafe regulated products, with the ultimate objective of driving the menace to the barest minimum within one year.

I know this doctor that stammers. When he goes for interview, he sees his colleague spend up to 30 mins, but his interviews doesn't go past 5 mins. He could tell they just want to dismiss him and move to the next person.

The doctor went for his PLAB exam in England. A day was set aside for doctors with speech difficulty. They were given extra time and asked if the time would be enough for them. He passed the PLAB. In Nigeria, when he takes exam, he has to finish within the alloted time given to people without difficulty.

Did you know that before VDM started this case with that Dr. Ifeanyi Onukwubiri popularly known as TMT that scam people through his travel agency, one of his Victims had already sued him but they couldn’t do anything to him, because the TMT guy frustrated the victim and his lawyer who goes by the name Cynthia Okosa.

So this TMT guy and his own team of lawyers of the “noble profession” frustrated the Cynthia Okosa (lawyer) and her client (victim).

He refused to refund the guy his money and even seized his passport to the extent that the guy and his lawyer was now begging him to give him his passport so that he can go back to Dubai where he is based but he refused.

The victim couldn’t travel back to Dubai at the time he was supposed to go back. The TMT guy later released his passport to him but it was already too late.

At this point him as his lawyer was no longer bothered about the refund, he only just wanted his passport back, but him and his lawyer couldn’t do shit to this TMT guy because he is rich and have connections.

Then Finally VDM stepped in because a lot of victims has now ran to VDM to rescue from this criminal TMT. At first TMT was bragging that even VDM can’t do shit to him.

Now VDM and his own team of lawyers has now brought TMT to his kneels, he is now begging for settlement promised now to refund everyone their money.

This guy has defrauded people of over N300m but the lawyers of the noble profession couldn’t even fight a criminal both in and outside court.

Now Cynthia Okosa is very happy when she saw the new that VDM has gotten TMT.😄😄

So this is the average 9ja home growing up…

Boys and girls having to grow up not hugging their parents/siblings.. We just didn’t get to visibly see showing of love/compassion at home even though we could k!ll for our brothers and sisters.. But to verbally say “I love you” to them and in some cases HUG THEM genuinely na problem.

I’ll cite example from a Yoruba Boy angle…

The typical Yoruba home.. You prostrate for your parents.. And you’re mandated to call your older ones ‘Boda/Aunty’.. And of course, your younger ones get to call you that too.

So that line for hugging don first blur by virtue of what we uphold.

Now imagine both genders growing from that in the average Nigerian home.. Then later in life, one gender is just magically expected to be ‘romantic’ in a western way
