Responding with speed, reach and compassion, two #IndianAirForce C-17 Globemaster III aircraft completed a demanding 23-hour flight to Venezuela, covering an aerial distance of over 14,000 km from Delhi to Caracas.
The aircraft landed at Maiquetía International Airport, Caracas, carrying 66 tonnes of humanitarian aid- including an Indian Army Field Hospital, over 35 tonnes of relief supplies, medicines and medical equipment, and two BHISHM Cubes—demonstrating India's capability to deliver hope across continents whenever called upon.
This transoceanic deployment reaffirms India's growing role as a responsible first responder and a reliable humanitarian partner.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is the youngest player to score a century in the Indian Premier League (IPL), the youngest player to earn a call-up to India’s senior men’s team, and one of the most talked-about teenage cricketers in the world.
In the unlikely setting of Stormont, Belfast, he is expected to make his T20 international debut against Ireland on Friday - aged 15.
How he got there begins long before the IPL. This is Sooryavanshi’s story, told by those who know him.

Ladies & Gentlemen
The moment the nation has been waiting for has arrived!
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in #TeamIndia jersey. Witness this incredibly special moment ❤️
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has played some extraordinary innings in 2026… 🤯
So many in fact that we started to run out of slides to accomodate all of his explosive cameos 😅
Teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi added another remarkable milestone to his rapidly growing resume on Sunday, smashing the fastest fifty in List A cricket history during the India A vs Sri Lanka A Tri-Series final at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium. The 15-year-old raced to his half-century in just 11 balls, breaking the previous record of a 12-ball fifty set by Sri Lanka’s Kaushalya Weeraratne in 2005. Opening the innings for India A, Sooryavanshi hammered five fours and five sixes to reach the landmark, registering his maiden fifty at the India A level in stunning fashion.

Now THAT is how you answer your critics..
I say it every time, this kid is special.
The Sri Lankan team claimed “This isn't the IPL.”, Sri Lanka thought that was a warning.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi treated it like batting advice and went on to score the fastest List A 50🥶🥶
Some sledges age badly. This one expired before the next match. 💀🏏
A couple of days before the final, as Vaibhav Sooryavanshi walked out of the nets after a long and gruelling batting session under the scorching sun, a handful of local fans gathered around him hoping to click pictures. The teenager obliged to most requests, but the demands kept growing. One picture led to two, two led to three, three led to more...
It reached a point where the team had to leave the Rangiri International Stadium and Sooryavanshi had to rush to catch the team bus, but the young fans simply wouldn't let him go. As the local security staff eventually escorted him away, one of them joked, "Let him score first... Give him some time..."
The runs weren't coming for the youngster. Coming on the back of a remarkable IPL season, where he won the Orange Cap, Sooryavanshi couldn't convert his starts in the Tri-Nation series for India-A. The pressure, naturally, was mounting. Hearing the remark, he smiled and quietly boarded the team bus.
Who would have imagined that the 15-year-old would save his best for the last?
In the final on Sunday, after Sri Lanka-A opted to field, Sooryavanshi slipped into a simple mode: miss your line or length and he'll make you pay.
A little something on the Boy Wonder!

Fifty off 11 balls. Incredible.
But it isn’t only that statistic which I applaud
Because after the earlier match’s on-field confrontation, he could have carried that baggage into this game.
Instead, he carried his bat & let it do the talking.
Talent is a gift.
But Temperament is a choice.
It’s the temperament that will make him a star
