What a day to be a Colt! I am so proud of ALL who helped make today happen and I cannot imagine a more welcoming way to start a school year and a middle school career!
The energy was flowing throughout our hallways today as our 8th Grade W.E.B. Leaders welcomed our 6th Grade Students to Carleton! #WhereEverybodyBelongs
The Book’s took on Traverse City this weekend to cheer on the @WeAreSCHS HOSA state meet qualifiers! Such a great group of girls in a great town. I’m proud of your accomplishments in competition and even prouder of how amazing you were with my kids!
Thank you to the RCS PAC for putting on such an incredible event last week! It’s inspiring to see so many incredible educators getting recognized for the love and support that they show each and every day! @WeAreSCHS staff had a huge showing. Well deserved!! #SparkleAwards
Sports Illustrated, baby!!!! Congrats to all three high school cheer teams! Not just the best in the state but the standard for the country! #StoooooooooooneyCreek

This is so cool: Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown wanted to see the life-sized cake Home Bakery made of him.
He surprised hundreds of fans. If they buy a baked good this week, they're entered to win playoff tickets from the All-Pro.
Numerous players sent off to College programs, 4 District Championships Titles and 3 League Titles.
Thank you for everything, Coach Rodger! SC Baseball will miss you.
The icing on the cake? It’s the 25th anniversary of my parent’s pulling me out of school early and heading down to the corner of Michigan and Trumbull for the final game at old Tiger Stadium. Passing the torch to the next generation tonight! #GoTigers
Tonight my daughter, who has never watched a Playoff baseball game in her life, got to stay up late and spray water all over me while chanting about being Playoff bound.
In 2014 Mrs. B and I were dating, no rings, no kids and just getting going with our careers. We watched a lot of bad baseball in the last 10 years with inflated contracts and inflated ego’s.
Next year I won’t be teaching my Theatre class for the first time in awhile! I loved getting to hang out with this incredible group of young people every 4th Hour, this semester!
Recap from the last week - Unit tests, Federalism cakes, temporarily swapping classrooms, Halloween fun/madness, 30+ letters of rec written and 50+ 7th graders at hoops tryouts.
