From the experience of submit my first Shopify app. Starting from scratch in the Shopify market without merchant resources makes it incredibly challenging to get visibility for app, even if it hits the pain points. Advertising investment appears necessary for a successful launch.

I submitted a WooCommerce Cart Popup plugin to Envato. The purpose of this plugin is to trigger popup with different events, in order to reduce cart abandonment rates. I will evaluate whether to create a Shopify app version.
