1 full year teaching in Dubai complete 🇦🇪🎓
Grateful for the new experiences, learning and opportunities it has given me and proud to have shared my expertise and passion in my new school.
Time to recharge before I head into my new role as Head of Year 6.

✅ Closed the door to 6SB for the last time 😥
Time for a short rest before my next step 🇦🇪

Well what a year it has been. My final year at my school has been filled with incredible successes, lessons for the future and unforgettable memories.
✅ Outstanding SATS (and writing) results from my year group comfortably above the national average (13% to 17% above)
✅Y6 Athletics (Quad-Kids) Team reached the county finals;Y3/4 team won our area for the same event
✅Continued to run PE lunch initiatives to drive sport for all: Staff v Student Week, School Sport Week, School Football week
✅ A well-received production of Shrek the Musical Jr
With our Y6 performance of Shrek The Musical JR to parents on Friday, it feels right to show our new door display. The children have created such brilliant work, which we completed the day after our trip to see it in the Theatre!
Organising Sports Day is no small feat so
My 3 key wins to help another PE leader:
🔹Walkie Talkies- I didn’t get off it all day 🤣
🔹Coloured Spray Paint- for each house as markers
🔹Detailed Staff Packs- everyone knew where they needed to be, what they were doing, and when
Sports Day 2025 ✅- I am grateful that I was able to put on a fun, successful and well-received day for all 480 pupils in my school (2 weeks ago)!
It was hot, it was hectic, it was stressful, but it was absolutely worth it.
The rabbits out the hat: so excited to be moving to Dubai in August to continue my teaching career! A new challenge awaits and I can’t wait to get started! 🇦🇪👨🏽🏫
Hard work pays off for my school football teams this year- so so proud!
Boys winning the 2025 Bridges Cup at Aldershot Football Stadium! Girls coming 2nd too being edged out on penalties in the final. Back to back wins now for the boys!
Part time teacher, part time Mourinho 🤣
Across the week:
-Art work designing a school kit
-Maths on PL Statistics
-Sessions ran by year group and gender each day
-Daily Challenges open to all: mini goals, target shooting, rebound net
-Football squad training
-Girls cup 1/4 finals
-Whole school crossbar challenge
This week, I organised and ran a week of football fun for @Pokemon#SchoolsFootballWeek across every lunchtime. Over 150 children took part in challenges & sessions to promote a love for the game! All the Children from Y3-6 all loved it- a big success #SFW2025@SchoolsFootball
Children did some #BlackHistoryMonth artwork recently focusing on reclaiming narratives. We looked at many inspirational black people and presented our work using Vogue style covers. What do you think @Edward_Enninful@KSI
I may be bias, but I have talented artists in my class!!
Residential starting tomorrow! Despite not being the overall group leader 😮💨, I’m leading the day to day running of the trip! Wish me luck 🤣 Memories for a lifetime for the children
Spent the day sorting out and getting rid of a lot of water from the outdoor PE container after flash floods in our local area last week. Good chance to give it a good tidy at the same time- I’ll give it 1 week tho!
Excuse my football boots too🤣🤣
