When you consider the emotion of this season.. When you wonder why this one felt different.. why it felt special…
Why would anyone ever climb Mount Everest? It’s cold, it’s deadly, it’s impossibly hard, you’ll fail, you’ll question yourself.
••• I tried my best to summarize the journey ••• I’d appreciate if you took 5 minutes to listen to this and give me your feedback.
@FeitsBarstool , I have great news for upcoming visit to Pittsburgh. We have a trash beer in this town I would love to shotgun with you Friday night. @KFCradio
All well and good however, the @RyderCupUSA has nothing to do with the @PGATOUR. It is hosted by the @PGA the tournament Brooks just won. If you are worried about representing the tour, worry about the @PresidentsCup
Brooks proved once again that the long ripple of epic failure is more a myth than reality. Rory stumbled at the 2011 Masters and won the next major by eight. Adam Scott lost a four shot lead with four to play at the 2012 Open and then won the 2013 Masters. Brooks had the 54 hole lead at the Masters, shot 75 to lose on Sunday and then never looked better winning the PGA. Michael Block proved once again why small star filled fields miss out on arguably the most compelling aspect in all of sport, the underdog story. He stole the show with with his gratitude and joy and of course his shockingly sharp game.
Brooks’ win raised a lot of questions. Post Tiger has there been a player who didn’t have a weakness? When healthy, Koepka appears to have none. Does his win help LIV? Yes, if one is inclined to overlook the source of the money and who they actually play for. No, if one considers that they actually play for the country that was the home for 16 of the 19 men who flew planes into buildings on September 11th, 2001 and killed thousand of people. And should LIV players be allowed on the Ryder Cup team? To which I ask you, would they really be playing for the US and the PGA Tour or would they be playing for LIV, MBS and Saudi Arabia?
A grill of many meats. Mostly burgers, tbh. This is not as fun of an answer as Kiradech hitting a Jule like Neil in his heyday, but it’s more accurate.
