Kid only spaces on the internet have disappeared and now kids are in adult spaces with no idea how to navigate them properly. Internet safety isnt taught anymore, so they disguise mass surveillance as internet safety hoping we don’t know the difference.
Never EVER forget what the ESA attempted to pull.
ANY time the ever say something, remind them of the stunt they tried.
They should be humiliated forever for ever trying to control how we connect with our friends in gaming.
Sony faces a proposed class-action lawsuit over how digital purchases are presented on the PlayStation Store.
Plaintiffs argue that buttons like “Buy Now” and “Confirm Purchase” give customers the impression they are purchasing and owning a game, when they are actually receiving a license to use it.
The case is based on a California law that took effect in 2025, requiring companies to clearly inform customers when they are buying a license instead of owning a digital product.
Sony’s checkout page includes a notice stating that purchases are licensed under its Software Product License Agreement, but the lawsuit claims the disclosure is too easy to overlook.
The complaint argues that labels such as “Buy Now” and “Confirm Purchase” can lead consumers to believe they are obtaining permanent ownership.
Scraping websites and having AI summarize them, so that no one visits the websites, is theft.
Training AI on videos, so that it can make new videos that compete with them, is theft.
We are witnessing the largest theft of creative work in history.
4 years ago I tried to make a deepfake video to warn people about the dangers.
It would require a world class team, broadcast equipment, days of training.
Today I released a new video. I used 2x $20 subscriptions with 2 days of work, did it myself.
Absolutely terrifying.

This is oligarchy.
See this? This means it's working. This is something we can consider a win, but it's still not enough. Unless Discord oficially states to never use ID verification or face scans ever again, I will still fight, and I encourage you to do the same.
And remember why this is happening in the first place, Discord is not the main culprit, governments are, bills that force social medias to control children will result in ID verification. The only way to control children on the internet should be with parental tools on their devices, not on social medias themselves.
Even if Discord backs down completly, https://t.co/9PB0mVL3Ez will still be running, because I think it's better to switch to decentralized options to not let this situation happen again.
Has your phone ever shown you an ad for something you only whispered...?
Google agrees to fork over $68MN to settle claims that its Assistant was SECRETLY recording your convos WITHOUT 'Hey Google' & feeding them straight to targeted ads — The Hill
No wrongdoing admitted though
it's not just tiktok. congress is trying to censor information on the entire internet. how? these three ways:
1) gutting section 230
2) age verificatoin
3) "child safety" internet regulation that is just censorship and surveillance.
these will impact the ENTIRE internet

So many people are probably wondering: what is the difference between freezing rain and sleet? I mean, they can’t be that different, right?
Well, we picked something completely at random—and in no way related to police work—to showcase the difference between the two.
Freezing rain is liquid rain that freezes on contact and takes the shape of whatever it lands on, creating a smooth glaze on surfaces.
Sleet is rain that has already frozen and then sprinkles onto roads, sidewalks, and other surfaces.
Both make driving dangerous. So whether we get a smooth glaze of ice or a sprinkle on the roads this weekend, please stay home if you can. If you must drive, please do so carefully.
We donut want to have to respond to any crashes this weekend that could have been avoided.
For those who have been taken advantage of or dislike the BS going on here with GenAI and sexual assault, I want to bring your attention to the Take it Down Act that was written into law earlier this year.
This act protects people from GenAI produced imagery and video if and when it is posted online without consent of the identifiable individual.
Punishment includes prison time and this act should be a powerful tool for those taking action against these abusers.
Congress link for the act is below.
