@HeatCulture13 Key words/phrases that jumped out:
- meshing/connection of the talent
Isn't that "meshing" something coaching is responsible for?
Yes, FO is responsible for getting the right pieces, but they are producing All-Stars with this unit.
@flasportsbuzz They put heavy stock into Spo having the magic elixir, hoping he could work miracles. But Spo has had a mediocre to subpar year as well. When you put that together, you get the result we are seeing this year.
@Brendan_Tobin And forgot to mention the more alarming thing - you don't know teams effort level from game to game. Few times this year team had zero fight or resolve. That is not a good sign.
@Brendan_Tobin Coaching Matters, Brendan. It's game 79, and we still don't know our rotations, how to maximize players, what lineups work, or a direction. Talent is one thing, but we need a better version of Spo and potentially new assistant coaches.
@flasportsbuzz Hi Barry I know unlikely because of the way FO operates, but is there a chance we get some new voices on the coaching staff? Love the assistants, but something has to change INCLUDING offensive philosophy. Talent is one thing, but things are stale/guys have started to tune out.
@wcgoldberg Don't think we are asking for his Job, not at all. Just acknowledgment that he has fault in this 4th consecutive play-in season. Talent is one topic, but offensive identity, starting line up, and rotations are all a mystery and we are years in with same core players.
@5ReasonsSports From the Video - clear that the players were confused on whether it was partial Zone or Man and what to do with KD - players to blame here for not being prepared, but comes back to Coaching.
@loscfera2@BrandonSoFlo@AshNicoleMoss I get it, but IMO this was diff than SGA/HARDEN/Brunson foul baiting.
Where we would agree is at end of the game hunting for the record by all means. Fine, but the man had 62 through 3 quarters.
@loscfera2@BrandonSoFlo@AshNicoleMoss Offensive Player attacking the basket to accumulate points is gaming the system? Blame the Wizards. Again never saying this was as impressive as Kobe, don't think thats the point, but the guy was doing whatever he wanted against an NBA team.
