Brilliant day exploring the implementation of a concept curriculum in PE with @Lee_Sullivan85 @MrCampbell_PE @PEScholar. A really thought provoking session with plenty of takeaways on how we can prepare our learners for life through PE💭💡
Challenging yet brilliant 2 days leading my first @DofE Bronze expedition.
3 teams showed great resilience to power through the local mountains and forestry. Time for some well earned rest.
Da iawn pawb!
Our Year 7 rugby team had their first fixture of the new term losing to an experienced Tonyrefail team. Mr Condron would like to congratulate those players who represented the school for the first time. Thank you also to our visitors for a great game. @tonmiddleschool
The Duke of Edinburgh programme at PCS will return shortly. Learners can register interest by completing a form sent to their school email address. Limited spaces available this academic year. Visit https://t.co/VgbZbxYp1a for more information, or speak to Mr Condron in school.

And the winner is... US!
We did it, we are @TimesHigherEd#THEAwards UK University of the Year 2021! 👏
This award is for everybody who's played a part and continues to make a difference here in Cardiff and around the world.
We're delighted. We're proud. We're #OneCardiffMet.
After 60 applications for teacher of PE. I thought it might be useful to share some DOs and DON'Ts.
Every applicant who took the time to apply was read through thoroughly, highlights made, notes taken, hours and hours of reading. I hope this helps anyone looking for a PE job...
If you’re a female PE teacher, please do not feel pressured to be a “specialist” in Netball or Gymnastics. Likewise, if you’re a male PE teacher do not be pressured to be a “specialist” in football/ rugby. You can all break the trend of our stereotypical education system
Physical inactivity is associated with a higher risk for severe COVID-19 outcomes: a study in 48 440 adult patients #OpenAccess
