Today was a great day. The greatest gift I got today was being surrounded by people who truly make me feel special. The amount of hugs from kids and a staff that truly made me feel so loved is the greatest feeling in the world. Carol Stream School is such a special place to be ❤️

To those who say it’s all about the kids. Just remember the students learn in an environment created by the teacher. A teacher who is supported, encouraged and appreciated will create a more positive and dynamic learning environment than a teacher who is not supported that way.

Happy World Kindness Day! Kindness Club spent the morning prepping our school to celebrate with a Kindness paws, a raffle, and posters! In a world where we can be anything, BE KIND. #WorldKindnessDay

Our Cheetahs celebrated Veterans Day by inviting the Veterans in our families to join us for recess. They spent the time playing on the playground, basketball, and soccer. Mr. Nascimento even spoke to the 5th graders about his time as a soldier. We are #CheetahProud @CCSD93

Took a step back today after my own personal reflection. I decided to stay away from my computer and just spend my day with kids. My goal is to visit every classroom and just be away from my office. It’s my favorite thing to do!
