What's better than a Friday? A Friday with PUPPIES! Thank you to @GuidingEyes for visiting our third graders at @SouthgateES and teaching important lessons about the treatment of #servicedogs and what they do to help the visually impaired.

A little later on this morning we headed to Latham Ridge where the Panthers honored more than a dozen veterans... many of whom had a connection to our students! Our 5th graders went through a mini boot camp and had brunch with our vets. #VeteransDay2023 #thankyouforyourservice

Congratulations to @FortsFerryES physical education teacher Chris Marsh and Shaker alum Peter Gannon who both completed the @nycmarathon this weekend! The two helped raise more than $30,000 for the Double H Ranch in the process. Thank you Mr. Marsh and Mr. Gannon! #marathonmen
