Hello all space catdets! We just posted 3 major updates to the launchpool, Jupiter DAO and LFG candidates!

Launchpool Updates
- 90M JUP tokens have been withdrawn, sent to the cold multisig and taken out of circulation
- USDC will be withdrawn in $10M batches, with the first batch completed.
- The remaining USDC will be removed gradually over the next few months.

This will allow JUP to regain price discovery while assuring all participants that the team is committed to a long-term gradual withdrawal of USDC liquidity.

Jupiter DAO
We believe the Jupiter DAO can be the most dynamic, active and forward looking DAO in crypto, with the mandate of growing Jupiter, Solana and the meta.

To encourage participation, and to fund it with the capital to pursue important initiatives:

- 75% of future LFG launchpad fees will be distributed to governance participants.
- 75% of future DLMM launchpool fees will be allocated to the DAO
- The DAO will start with 100M in JUP earned from the LFG launchpad for voting incentives and 6.15M in operational funds from JUP Launch.

Over the next month, we will starting the community process to form not only the DAO, but also the ecosystem working group and the official catdet role!

Potential LFG Candidates
The goal of LFG is to grow the ecosystem pie by helping good projects tap into a wider community and ecosystem.

It is crucial to understand that the community and DAO collectively decides on each launch, and the team does not decide on which projects are launched on LFG.

To kickstart the process:
- We have brought three potential LFG launches to the DAO: Sanctum, Debridge and SharkyFi.
- We will organize introductions to these projects so that the community can make a decision on the first LFG launch.

LFG is meant to be as open and community driven as possible. For other projects that wish to be involved, there will also be a channel to apply as well, so please keep a lookout for that as well!

There's going to be a lot to do in February to get ready for the next phase of Jupiter, so stay tuned!
