Congratulations to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the next President and Vice President of the USA.
This is the first step of many more to come in demanding equality and justice for all people. This fight is certainly not over, but we are pointed in the right direction for change

3 year old during quarantine: Can I eat a bowl of whipped cream while we play video games?
Me: Why not.
As we plan to return to school let's take a moment to raise a glass to principals, who have answered the call, sacrificed time with their families, and showed resilience in spite of the circumstances.
At the beginning of the school year, my PLT developed these critical questions to ask our students. My 7th graders were able to see the injustice in society, so if you cannot, maybe ask yourself these questions today. Really think about your answers #BLACKlivesMATTER
As a white man raised in the south, I resonate with a lot of what he has said. Growing up I felt like I was on the side of justice, when in reality, I was still a part of the problem. I hope this video/article can help white people understand how to actually help the situation.
Watching the murder of #GeorgeFloyd and the resulting protests, I was reminded of the way I used to think. I wrote a letter to former myself.

How can we say what we believe, when officers of the law try to silence those words? Yes the protesters threw trash, is that cause for getting run over? Is an allegedly forging a check cause for murder?
