We can never be grateful enough to our Lord and Savior to even be worthy, with all of our wickedness, of His consideration for anything, let alone a meaningful mission in life. I came across Isaiah 6:8 at a very young age in a weird, dusty, and hot place 17 years ago. Every time I listen to it, it hits every fiber like a lightning bolt. Parents generally know best because their children are quite literally a piece of them. They love them more than anyone else can ever have. Only in extremely rare circumstances are there overly possessive (“devouring”) parents --often linked to inadequate education --who sacrifice their children’s long-term future for their own short-term emotional satisfaction. These parents love their children so intensely that they insist on keeping them closely dependent. When the parents are eventually gone, society is left to address the resulting vulnerabilities and maladaptive tendencies in those children.

Giving everything a conspiratorial spin is the dying wish of those who seek our ruin, because it erodes trust in ourselves, our leaders, and our way of life. Reagan called it "moral" and "spiritual" weakness. The fact that such things may even exist --and that the people in charge have not destroyed us --is a testament that they are ultimately in rational hands. It is only rational to believe that every advanced country has its own secrets. Such rights are also afforded by our way of life to us as individuals, families, businesses, and communities, as long as they do not cause harm. “You will know them by their fruits” (Matthew 7:16). Our country is a superpower due to the very "fruits" of hard working people.

Let’s say someone is out there with these technologies whose release, as you said, would ruin our current economic system. What good would come from the sudden ruin of the current economic, social, governmental, and/or military systems? None. It is a free country in which everyone can accomplish one’s rational dreams without seeking its ruin. We are not a superpower in ruins, and that is a good sign. In my humble opinion, if such things even exist, it is rational to believe that the person(s) in charge have performed a thorough cost-benefit analysis regarding our national, social, cultural, economic, and physical security, etc.

Imagine you came up with an innovative way to produce a zombie in a lab every two minutes in your basement --would you do it or share such knowledge openly? It would destroy everything. You would, hopefully, have the rational mind to make the right decision and not share it openly. The lord created us in his very own Divine image and his spirit is dwelling within us; it means we can probably create everything if we put our mind into it. As long as the cost/benefit is in accordance with his Devine rational instilled in us via our conscience, we should be able to create it and use it properly. But will we cause our own ruin for the mere satisfaction of ego and self-righteousness? Satan whispers "yes."

Attachment to material possessions is normal human behavior among people of all races and religions. The more you have, the more you can give/contribute. Most of us, by our choices, are not good enough to have enough to give enough. Everyone can see where your post is going/suggesting. The Lord never said not to work hard to bring light to yourself and your neighbors, whether through prayer, knowledge, or material possessions. Let those who never desired material possessions cast the first stone; such people are rare. Millions of Israelites have or had only as much as the average person from other groups, and hundreds of thousands live no differently than Catholic and Buddhist monks.

Most who are blessed with material possessions have pledged giving billions in wealth for the benefit of people of all colors and faiths. Some have created millions of jobs. Kevin O’Leary has probably given far more in charity than you and I could in multiple lifetimes. I don’t think the compassionate lord will judge him harshly for his desires for a watch. From what I learned in Catholic faith so far is that Satan acts as the accuser. Are there wicked, vile, greedy, and saint-like are among us all? Yes. We just have to look within. Please don’t harm the Catholic faith. Your page is “Become A Saint,” but this post encourages people to become useful idiots of tricky foreign propaganda. I hope the Lord will guide us in the right direction.

You and your masters can't tolerate a UNITED STATES OF AMERICA in which a white kid and a black kid put their comfort aside to rescue an Asian kid from certain death. This image is not just the best of a united America, but also the best of humanity. President Lincoln called it the last best hope of humanity for a reason...it has tried, since its inception, to take under its wing, and nurture, the best of humanity. This image scares you and your masters because it can never happen in your godless ethnocentric authoritarian countries. You know very well that our unity will be the ultimate end of you.

Our enemies want us divided internally during this time of conflict --also a period that will likely determine who wins the AI race. A house divided against itself cannot fight external enemies, because we will be busy eating our own. I see a lot of people expressing various kinds of grievances on social media on a daily basis. While grievances often seem valid and everyone has the right to speak openly in our country, please note that our top four enemies are closely watching us for the smallest propaganda opportunities.

Expressing grievances on social media and giving them exposure makes our enemies very very happy. They want to poke our worst impulses and highlight our shortcomings to demoralize and further divide us. In such times, my mother would say, “Don’t let them hear us screaming at each other or see us at each other’s throats.” Many things can literally be solved through internal deliberations and private communication instead of posting everything in the open. Also, keep in mind those in uniform fighting out there in this scorching heat. The last thing our brothers and sisters in uniform want to see is a chaotic house that they are trying to defend.

Senator @LindseyGrahamSC was the Charlie Wilson of our time. Both men brought very caring uncle vibes to the orphans--the underdog orphans whom had not many strong people on their side. Representative Wilson and Senator Graham both came from military backgrounds. They both deeply understood the struggles of the just underdogs of the world who were fighting for just causes and were badly outnumbered by vile and unjust enemies. They always fought on the side of the underdog and made sure they won. RIP, Uncle Graham!

Ms. Sanders @arealmermaid2 and Mr. Rad @JohnRad15, have you conducted a root cause analysis of each conflict listed in the chart? I doubt it. The chart presents a highly selective and one-sided narrative that is circulated by our adversaries to erode public support and weaken us morally and spiritually. Our adversaries are not happy that their likeminded circle is getting smaller and smaller. At the tactical level, we can agree that mistakes were made by fallible individuals. I have tried to read about most of these conflicts, including the more recent ones. Each has multiple, often complex causes. What “we the people” have frequently failed to do is examine those causes thoroughly and communicate them clearly to ourselves.

Take the Iraq War as an example. Veterans of that conflict have been subjected to widespread criticism, guilt, and shame, largely because no active stockpiles of WMD were found after the 2003 war. What is often overlooked is Saddam Hussein’s well-documented history: he developed and used chemical weapons against his own Kurdish population (most notoriously at Halabja in 1988) and others. His regime also maintained biological weapons programs and had pursued nuclear weapons capabilities before the 1991 Gulf War. After that war, he was forced to dismantle much of its programs under UN supervision, though serious questions remained about compliance, accounting discrepancies, and possible retention of knowledge and dual-use infrastructure. Later assessments, later proven flawed regarding active stockpiles, were shaped by this history of deception and non-compliance with UN resolutions. I'm not even going to talk about him and his son's sadistic nature and subjugation of over tens of millions of his citizens. I will also not detail the fact that, after 9/11, terrorists leaders fled to Iraq....and that some received medical care in Baghdad hospitals.

The war in Afghanistan offers another clear case. After nearly 3,000 Americans were killed in 9/11 attacks, the Bush administration demanded that the Taliban hand over the terrorist leader and dismantle terrorists’ infrastructure. Despite diplomatic pressure exerted through multiple channels, the Taliban refused. The regime, led by religious hardliners with limited education and insular decision-making, protected the perpetrators rather than surrender them. Once military action began, the US worked with Afghans —however imperfect those arrangements were —to remove the Taliban from power and pursue those responsible for the attacks.

Let’s take your own neighborhood as an example. Would you be comfortable living next door to a neighbor with a proven record of many murders or use of chemical weapons and a long pattern of pursuing weapons of mass destruction while ignoring continues pleas from HOA? As you would agree, today distance and two massive oceans no longer provides the same protection it once did. You, and me too, hate war, but it is sometimes a necessary evil when dealing with actors who cannot be deterred or reasoned with by other means.

America was founded by people who fled persecution and poverty in search of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Like you and your parents, most Americans have traditionally been wary of foreign wars and entanglements. However, industrialization, followed by globalization and advances in transportation and communication, turned the world into a small place. Threats could now reach shores far more easily than in earlier days. Meanwhile, America’s population and economy grew, protecting access to resources, trade routes, and strategic interests became necessary to sustain the freedoms of “we the people.” This sometimes required intervening abroad --either to deter emerging threats or to seek justice after attacks on Americans.

I agree that Fallible individuals have made mistakes in the conduct of just causes; that is an unfortunate but unavoidable reality of human conflict. Yes, America and its leaders are not without flaws, but it has completely differed from many historical superpowers in that it has not sought to erase other peoples’ cultures or religions unless they became a threat. America could’ve used its nukes, when no one else had them, to completely force change the future of humanity. BUT it chose peace even with heinous tyrants as long as they were not a threat to the entire humanity and us. Again, interventions in other country's political systems were usually done in response to threats to its security or to global stability, rather than for the sake of conquest or cultural domination. If I were you, I would read primary documents and balanced historical accounts of each conflict rather than relying on any single chart. Fully understanding the “why” behind these conflicts is time consuming and drains one's energy...read and research often requires too much reading and careful analysis across multiple sources. But it helps us make informed choices when it comes to public discourse. Sorry for the long post and hope it will make a small difference.

Thank you so much for clearly articulating this important distinction between Patriotism and Nationalism. Many people, including myself for a time, have misunderstood the two ideas and used the terms interchangeably. Nationalism is fundamentally closer to nativism in its core principles. This is especially evident in ethnocentric nationalism, which places one’s own ethnic group above all others and thereby subordinates or disregards the Lord’s most sacred commandments: to “Love God,” to “Love your neighbor,” and to “love yourself.” By adopting ethnocentrism, one effectively sacrifices one’s neighbors --all human beings belonging to other ethnic groups. In doing so, one turns away from God. Once God is lost as the ultimate moral reference point, people drift without fixed boundaries in every direction. This loss of moral limits also leads to eating one’s own. Nationalism characteristically defines itself against an external enemy; once that enemy is defeated, neutralized, or no longer useful, it typically begins to turn inward and purge its own ranks through endless internal purification, exclusion, and division.

Among other things, what makes America so great is that it is not “a place for zero-sum thinking.” Perfectly said. The lack of this virtue, I think most would agree, led to failed government and political experiments around the globe. It feels like God worked through our imperfect men, women, and ways to continue to advance the last best hope on earth for everyone of various thoughts and persuasions.

This strategy is now being implemented by the Axis Power 2.0 (CRINK) to achieve their desired outcome: a divided America in chaos from within, using useful idiots like our uninformed, uneducated, and arrogant. It is multifaceted: division from within along cultural, color, and religious lines, and self-inflicted isolation from outside, through which we alienate our like-minded allies and alliances in favor of devouring adversarial alliances.
