Fueled by the mission to combat the childhood obesity & depression epidemics, the LYMPH framework is a physical education program and philosophy designed to produce fitness literacy competence and confidence through the instruction of essential knowledge and skills within athletic movement and physical health.
@DJJenkins@MBLinton Why are some pastors so vehemently against the issue here?
At what point did Christian start meaning passive?
This is literally the point that Josh is making. As cultural states shift & erode, the Christian worldview must stay consistent & unwavering. It’s literally the point.
@james120seven As a Pastor, how would you define a Christian worldview & what does it look like when a Christian lives life through that worldview?
Are Christians obligated to sit on the sidelines within cultural wars & what alternative financial strategies would you recommend for churches?
@TheGridironHQ 3. Unique Excellence - understand your role on the team and how that role translates to winning. Embrace your role and put forth 100% effort in order to be great.
@TheGridironHQ Anyone leading w/ blocking is virtue signaling.
1. Trustworthiness - know your assignment & do your job. Make the play when the play needs to be made.
2. Selfish Selflessness - If its 8 recs 100 yds 1 TD or 1 catch 7 yds, passionately do whatever it takes to help the team win
26 years ago today, the final episode of Boy Meets World premiered on ABC.
Cory, Topanga, Shawn, and Eric say goodbye to Mr. Feeny in this very special final scene.
@AmirMushich How would you start this process from the standpoint of not having the physical product or packaging completed? What sort of prompt would you suggest for creating the product and packaging first, then creating these concept pages?
@WifiMoneyPlant I’ve always wondered if there’s an AI platform that allows you to create a personalized podcast episode where you can be interviewed on any topic of your choosing, enabling the user to have long form conversations about specific ideas in real time with an AI figure
@Brandon_L_Davis@mpearl88 I think it also supports the integration of weight training into the curriculum bc that’s something these kids can buy in to. If we compare effort/work output on lifting days vs any other activity day, my experience would show that kids put forth their best effort on fitness days
@Brandon_L_Davis@mpearl88 Spot on for girls, and I’ve also noticed there’s almost 3 categories of boys: above average athletes, average athletes/above average non-athletes who don’t play organized sports, and below average non-athletes.
@coachrowe20 A controllable variable here is fear of failure. Easier for kids to goof off than risk the reality that they aren’t naturally good at everything. Deliberately set up controlled competitions in class with public positive/negative results. Many kids will rise to the environment.
@CoachTParr I definitely think there’s something to be said for the inverse relationship where it’s not necessary that multi sport participation produces the best athletes so much as it’s your best athletes possess the athleticism to be the multi sport athletes.
@CoachTParr I think there’s a lot of nuance to this issue. In most cases, your genuine multi-sport athletes are going to be your superior athletes that make multiple teams & play significant roles for that obvious reason. Rare for multi sport athletes to sit on benches in all of those sports
