@robotmaths @EmporiumMaths @mrsdenyer @MrJMaths @CasioMaths Thanks - I think we got ours up and running September time, so won't be expiring just yet - fingers crossed they keep this going as a long-term arrangement.
@BouchMaths @MissT_chem Fair enough - sounds plausible. I don't think the phones are as fussy on the 2m rule (they can't calculate distances, only strength of Bluetooth signal) but if she's positive and has the app that would certainly do it.
@BouchMaths @MissT_chem Unless she (the person with the phone) has covid then this isn't it - you don't follow a chain of isolation, only positive cases.
@mathsology_ We have a small cohort and have adapted our offer based on the students. Default position is FM1 and D1, but we have taught FP1 too. We tend to have physicists, so mechanics is natural choice. Decision tends to be a bit more accessible than pure.
"Sir, you can't revise maths, can you?"
Me:
I imagine this exists in many forms already, but here is my offer - what would you add or change? @DrFrostMaths@MathsWatchLtd@crashMATHS_CM @mathsgenie @cgpbooks
@AlhassanMaths I used to think this and then decided it was asking for a certain accuracy - that is your answer must be correct up to the third significant figure. Correct to 3sf is not the same as round.
Not sure if my interpretation is correct, but seems to chime with the mark schemes.
@suffolkmaths There was a Schools Week article that suggested they may be a preferred source of evidence. The ofqual guidance says exam boards will inform schools of the quality assurance measures we must apply / abide by. Could they insist we use them as part of our evidence?
@MathsImpact@AlhassanMaths@ShakinthatChalk How does this sit with last year's grade inflation? Is a grade 4 now worth a grade 4 (2020) or a grade 4 (2019)? The exam boards are supposed to provide criteria at the end of the month - way too late, in my opinion.
@harrisonmaths On the insert tab there is a 'symbol' option - finding the degree symbol can be an ordeal, but Word keeps track of 'last used' symbols at the bottom and I think degree symbol is there by default. As others have said, there is an Alt+ shortcut too. https://t.co/0lvu6BPXyb.
