Today is the Year 11 WJEC IT exam. We have boosters period 2 with Mr Hastie and Miss Varley.

Next year, I, and others, will have 1 day off every fortnight with no reduction in pay and with the same level of PPA.

This is such a step in the right direction for us as teachers and it serves as a model for other schools to follow

Windows + D: Show Desktop
Ctrl + PrtSc: Saves a screenshot in your 'Photos' folder
Windows + Shift + S: Custom Screenshot that is automatically copied for you to paste.

Ctrl + Shift + T: restore recently closed tabs from a closed browser.
Windows + . : Opens the symbols menu for typing.
Ctrl + Shift + L: Lock the computer.

Windows + V: saves your copy history. Very useful if you are copying and pasting multiple things at once.
In Powerpoint when presenting press W for a blank white screen, press B for a blank black screen.
In Excel use Ctrl + Alt + Enter to add a line space in a cell.

A teacher at my school quit last night after hours. Didn't come today.

Teaching is really really hard.

If we can't value teachers mental health this is just going to keep happening.

I looooove my job but there are definitely aspects that seem insane and unsustainable.

I just finished Final Fantasy 16.
Is it a good game? Yes.
Does it have a lot of flaws? Yes.
Is it better than Baulder's Gate 3? No, very little ever will be now.

A #CABtastic first day back for us at @MaltbyAcademy.

Getting everything ready for our new @Post16MLT Year 12s and Year 7s for a #CABulous first day tomorrow.
