Theodore Major had a solo show here in 1980 and we have some unique works of his on show! A beautiful drawing of 'Wigan Back Yards' on loan from Martin Heaps @CollectArtLymm and ‘Old Lancashire Woman’, sent as a Christmas card from Theo & Kathleen, from @WiganMuseum #Leigh #Wigan

This year The Turnpike Gallery celebrates 50 years of creativity, inspiration and ambition.

We are marking the occasion with our new show 'Drawn In', which opens today!

The exhibition is free to all and open from 10-4pm Tuesday – Saturdays.

Come say hello!
