Daniel Beattie

Husband, dad, euphonium player and tea drinker. Ever trying to be better at all of them - except drinking tea - I'm awesome at that!

[Daniel Beattie @MrDanielBeattie]

@Gary_Gowers Finding someone both willing to come here and accepted by the fans will be a problem. I can’t see any of the names mentioned wanting to come to a bottom of championship type club - especially with fanbase currently protesting against the hierarcy. Not really an attractive job.

[Daniel Beattie @MrDanielBeattie]

@louise_pne @shaneduffy @PNEFCPost Was a bad tackle and should have been a certain yellow card. Talk of a retrospective ban is probably an emotional reaction to the unfortunate injury. It wasn’t a red. Hoping for a speedy recovery.

[Daniel Beattie @MrDanielBeattie]

@DHucks6 The team were poor and deserved to lose the game, but we should also expect to see capable, competent refereeing at this level. It’s ok to moan about both things.

[Daniel Beattie @MrDanielBeattie]

@SugacubeM1 @pinkun A mistake is not the same thing as an accident.
His reaction to that situation was his mistake - and quite a horrible one.

[Daniel Beattie @MrDanielBeattie]

@LewisA_ncfc @NCFCFINLAY15 @BobRutler @nickmashiter Or it may indicate that Sainz could be on his way.

[Daniel Beattie @MrDanielBeattie]

@NCFCFINLAY15 @LewisA_ncfc @BobRutler @nickmashiter Villa ended his WBA loan because of lack of playing time. 17 appearances in half a season mainly from the bench. If he comes here it’ll be to start.

[Daniel Beattie @MrDanielBeattie]

@EduardoHagn Attitude problem.

[Daniel Beattie @MrDanielBeattie]

@OrielCelt @Gastro_Celtic The price is whatever Norwich say it is.He’s their player and has 4 years on his contract. If Celtic can muster the funds Norwich will sell him.If they can’t he’ll stay as a backup striker.I do get the appeal of Celtic, but I still believe he could cut it in the Championship.

[Daniel Beattie @MrDanielBeattie]

@now_arsenaI Good player. Question mark about his attitude/ego perhaps?

[Daniel Beattie @MrDanielBeattie]

@DublinAirport Stay classy Ireland. There’s no shame in England qualifying then getting to the final and coming 2nd (out of 54) to an excellent Spain team. Now if they’d failed to qualify - that would be a little bit embarrassing and worth mocking.

[Daniel Beattie @MrDanielBeattie]

@Gazby77 @footballontnt I think it was a penalty. Defender was late, high boot, studs up and caught Kane after he played the ball. Anywhere else on the pitch a foul is given and not even questioned.

[Daniel Beattie @MrDanielBeattie]

@sonofcathan @MickDennisReal Great? Hardly. Robson lost all 3 group games in Euro ‘88. Failed to qualify in ‘84!!! Southgate is far from perfect - sometimes a little dull but beats Robson as England manager on every measure. apart from likability maybe?

[Daniel Beattie @MrDanielBeattie]

@carolvorders The time has come for a new set of charlatans.

[Daniel Beattie @MrDanielBeattie]

@CastCanary Can just hear the whine of “get it up there” in a thick Norfolk accent.

[Daniel Beattie @MrDanielBeattie]

@TalkNorwichCity @nickmashiter This guy is not credible.

[Daniel Beattie @MrDanielBeattie]

@DavidHuggins66 @pinkun That’s simply not true.
Sainz, Rowe, Sara, Sargent, Nunez, Fisher, Gibbs. All are a similar age or younger than Idah.

[Daniel Beattie @MrDanielBeattie]

@Saund65 @MickDennisReal The stench of entitlement still lingers around the fan base. Win 8 home games on the trot = silence. Lose a dead rubber final game = outrage. Had Farke lost either Emi or Temu for 4 month he’d never won the league. Sargent is our single most important player.

[Daniel Beattie @MrDanielBeattie]

@CGoreham @BBCNorfolk I feel for the travelling fans. It was clear that the only objective for the players was to complete the fixture obligation and not over-exert or pick up any silly injuries. Probably the right approach but horrible to pay money to watch.

[Daniel Beattie @MrDanielBeattie]

@pinkun He’s an upgrade on Duffy when fully fit - but far too rusty to take the risk at this stage of the season.

[Daniel Beattie @MrDanielBeattie]

@dale_63 @Saund65 Qualified for Europe 4 times. The Hysel ban was in force until the 4th.
