@Rhopunzel I grew up on HP and I love that world, so I've been conflicted for a long time about this. Maybe I'm naive but I like to think I can be pro trans - and would vehemently defend trans rights - and also love the thing that gave me so much joy in childhood.

Thoughts to my younger self and on building:

1. Lean into fear. Behind your greatest fears are your greatest strengths.

2. The obstacles are the path. Don't be discouraged by them. They are where your unique, and greatest, opportunities lie.

3. Trust your gut. It's your highest truth. Just because someone is older, more experienced, or revered, does not mean they are right. They often aren't. They are driven by what's best for them and ego.

4. Surround yourself with people who see and feel your dreams as you do.

5. Never, never, never give up. I can't say it enough times.

6. Your voice is powerful. Silence isn't an option.
