The New Parliament Buiilding marks a symbolic departure from pre-/colonial hangovers and heralds the spirit of New India of the 21 st century. Aesthetically it combines Indian tradition with modernity. Long live Indian democracy 🙏

@JournoMahima Thank you for the opportunity, Mahima ! You are among the brightest I have ever taught. I am happy that you made me think again on the role that poetry and art have to play in a world full of conflicts. It is a collective responsibility to make the world a beautiful place.Thanks.
@JournoMahima Channelising creatively, even destructive instincts like hatred and violence which are naturally inherent in the Human Unconscious is the path to conflict resolution, peace and empathy. Let there be poetry, there will be light, even in darkness.
@JournoMahima Those creative responses to external reality remind us who we truly are and what we can possibly strive for to make this world a better place to live in.
@JournoMahima A poet is always a young, as long as one is a poet. The moment one stops being young, curious and imperfect, one stops being a poet. Only a young mind can respect choices, voices and perspectives different from its own. A poet is a world full of possibilities and perspectives.
@JournoMahima That helps me deal with creative blocks which naturally occcur to all creative individuals. I am critically respectful of mistakes and I keep my mind open to read and identify the bridges among various seemingly different fields of study.
@JournoMahima Advaitam Speaks Literary believes that creativity transcends all borders and frontiers. Art and Poetry can be perceived as an inward journey towards selfhood. When one seriously looks inside, one looks outside with greater conviction.
@JournoMahima Advaita is an ancient school of Indian philosophy that believes in the principle of oneness and unity of beings. Advaita also means the one and only. Advaitam is neologistic that way. Advaitam Speaks Literary believes in looking inward and rediscovering our roots.
@JournoMahima 'Project Advaitam' is a product of creative cross-cultutal encounters in search of the universal language of music. I am happy to inform that Advaitam Speaks has a few upcoming international collaborations in support of the exemplary struggle by Iranian women for their rights.
@JournoMahima It also breaks the conventions of the Classical Raaga the song is based on. The moment, a work of art is deified, the purpose of art fails as it stops evolving. Borgeets are still deified. A Borgeet, the way I have done, unsettles the traditional discourse of Borgeet.
Thank you sir @MrDevParashar for agreeing to do Twitter interview. It’s always my pleasure to talk to you. Sir, you are associated with the World Poetry Movement and Movement of Poets of the World, what role do you think poetry has in the current global political scenario?

@JournoMahima There are many poets who do not write poetry. Poetry keeps us sane. Poetry connects minds. Poetry questions. Poetry has a role in the current global scenario, and that's why we have Open Mics, Instapoetry or Poetry Festivals.
@JournoMahima Pleasure is mine, @JournoMahima ! Poetry is possibly the oldest expression of creative humanity. Poetry has reinvented itself from time to time and has survived the test of time for thousands of years. Poetry is everywhere, in written as well as unwritten forms.
