@MenTeachPrimary My mentor forgot to show up to my first observation and that set the tone. She ended up going off for a couple of months which was a relief as I used to talk with other members of staff who were a lot better. I’ve since been a mentor and did my best to not replicate her.

@Mr_Minchin Yes. Especially being from Edinburgh - too many Rangers/Celtic fans with little connection to Glasgow. But playing against a team that bring 200 fans, plays 11 behind the ball is not as exciting as playing teams that bring a couple of thousand. I think a 16 team league could work

Just finished the first Scottish Edutwitter game of football. 12 Primary teachers showed up to play East vs West. Would say the East won but we never really kept score. Raised about £140 for CHAS so far. Thanks to all who came. Come on Secondary teachers get involved.

@Mr_Minchin Seems to be far less scrutiny/more trust than in England (or maybe I just follow the wrong people). Also for Edinburgh folk - half day on a Friday makes a huge difference for CPD/planning/marking and sometimes just being able to finish at 12.30 on a Friday.
