Beyond excited to share that I have accepted a meteorologist position at @winknews in Ft. Myers!
It doesn’t even feel real typing this - as many of you know, this is something I‘ve dreamed about since middle school!

@mrossfinancial@pbcsd I didn't see "student" or "staff member" in your reply. It seems that you are fortunate enough to not have been negatively impacted. Why is it necessary to criticize a governmental body that made decisions for the safety and well-being of its staff and the community it serves?
@mrossfinancial@pbcsd With all due respect, it's unfair of you to assume that students and staff were not affected by those storms. To whom are you referring when you say "us"? Are you a student or staff member in @pbcsd ?
Twitter friends who are considering leaving, where are you going? Honest question. I'd love your input (and new handles), because I will certainly miss the information and updates I get here. Thanks in advance.
All joking aside, this news has left a pun-shaped hole in my heart.Even after leaving the traditional classroom, @CarlAzuz remained a part of our day. I'm sure my colleagues and former students will agree that @CoyWire has some big shoes to fill. #fridaysareawesome#iykyk#cnn10

Sometimes, "getting going" is as much a challenge as "getting done" for our kids. Here's how I support either endeavor when my kids need a nudge. #Project180
It's time! I'd like to provide a SMART Interactive Display to a public school teacher in Florida or Georgia. Some restrictions (beyond my control, see comments) apply. Interested? Comment Follow Like & Share. #DonorsChoose#clearthelist#teachertwitter#teachers#edtech
