We have to improve his hip internal rotation, along with his shoulder, external rotation, which will allow him to not redline every single time he swings, thereby decreasing his injury risk and increasing his free rotational range of motion. Best way to do this is through soft tissue work, followed by active assisted motion and an active loaded motion so that the nervous system learns the new desired range of motion.
