@HLTCO Maybe if they had used their owners limitless wealth to invest in infrastructure and growing revenue streams rather than unsustainable running costs that could only ever work with CL qualification, they would be in a better place. Sure it would take time but it would last.

NO club should be allowed to spend beyond their means. Fans rightly criticise City/Chelsea but then want to be able to do the same

@OP4C By any measure, be it on the pitch success or commercial revenue Spurs are a bigger club than Villa and Newcastle. Right now the rules are preventing two clubs from spending money they don’t have and rightly so. The fault here sits with their failed financial/commercial strategy

@GarySmithJnr If competing means spending money you only have because you are backed by insanely rich states/individuals then good. City/Chelsea should never have been allowed to do it but just because they did doesn't mean we should allow everyone to. Grow your revenue and spend what you earn
