Narcan isn’t “just for addicts.”
-drink was tampered with.
-one impulsive mistake.
-too much by accident.
Overdose can happen to anyone. Compassion should too.
Narcan saves lives
-you hope you never need but you’ll be grateful it’s there if you do
Less judgment. More lives saved

It's not enough to simply have Narcan on hand while using. It's important that everyone you're w knows it's available & how to use
Heads up: the next day after using, there may be a dopamine deficit.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., warned that silence in the face of injustice is a choice. The fight against HIV is inseparable from the fight for civil rights—ending stigma, expanding access to care and ensuring that people with HIV are treated with humanity.
#HumanRightsDay reminds us that HIV work is human rights work. Everyone deserves accurate info, affirming care & access to tools that protect health. #UequalsU is essential. Undetectable means untransmittable. Ending HIV is possible when we lead with people equity and evidence.
World AIDS Day is a day to remember those we’ve lost and to reenergize our fight against HIV stigma.
The fight isn’t over. Know your local resources and share them.
Have an idea.
Do the things.
There is hope in action.

JUST NOW: A4TE lawyers sent an amicus brief to the Supreme Court in regard to two cases about youth sports. The brief urges the justices to affirm lower court rulings that allowed two trans students to play sports with their peers. (1/3)
The brief gives context to the exclusion of trans people today. Using the history of anti-LGBTQ+ discrimination, A4TE lawyers demonstrate how bans on trans participation are unconstitutional. A4TE is proud to put this argument directly before the court. (2/3)
Bans do not make school sports more fair for students. Instead, these laws single out and target trans kids, denying them the right to be themselves. More: https://t.co/yTimK35QeN (3/3)

Some people living with HIV struggle to adhere to their treatment and need extra support to remain undetectable.
To advance people's quality of life, we need person-centred approaches to HIV care and re-engagement.
