@JustEatUK really disappointed that my order yesterday had missing items and when reported to you, you decided that no refund could be made. Out of curiosity do the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 apply to you or the restaurant ordered from?
@MrElliotHisMod@MrMcEnaney Agreed. Have been told in the past that there’s no point in questioning anything because the senior team have already decided.
Had the pleasure of delivering an Equality and Diversity CPD to our probationer and student teachers this afternoon. Always fills me with joy as we reflect on the amount of work undertaken to establish a celebratory culture around the diversity of our school! #teachertwitter
@AndyNelson1977 In the Scottish context there are clear guidelines about uniform policies and how it can be enforced.
It’s a very different picture from the English education system which has been seen to exclude pupils for not following uniform expectations
@AndyNelson1977 We’ve successfully implemented a £0 cost to the school day through initiatives such as making school uniform available to all, pupils having access to stationery packs no questions asked, and any materials such as calculators or textbooks being provided by the school
@AndyNelson1977 In sales, marketing, ops are all employees expected to wear a branded ID badge? A policy that is applied uniformly across employees to show identity and connection to the business?
@Kernowteacher1@MrMcEnaney Also supermarkets, fast food, hospitality, public services, mechanics, retail, some areas of council workers, trades people, many many customer facing roles, professional services, teaching etc etc etc
@Kernowteacher1@MrMcEnaney I agree it’s changing, but dress trousers and shirt, or chinos and polo, or skirt and blouse. They may not be company issued but they are uniform by definition. Our uniform refuser cohort created their own uniform: north face puffer jackets… it’s a uniform is they all wear it!
