I recommend people read Time's interview with Trump to get a sense of the president's grave cognitive impairment. Trump is either unwilling or unable (or maybe both) to answer the questions he's actually asked, so he just rants and raves while the interviewers do their best to provide structure to his random brain firings. https://t.co/wUBAQYBGjd
A prominent election denier whom the Trump administration hired to pursue investigations into election-related conspiracy theories has resigned several months after he failed to find evidence that the 2020 presidential race was stolen. https://t.co/HylUS3J9R0
The site's question-and-answer function confirms that President Donald Trump's name is in the Epstein files and that Democrat Joe Biden beat him in the 2020 election.
It says federal officials did not find widespread fraud in that election, as Trump says constantly. https://t.co/WfwbWhdwAu
President Trump decided to dip into the U.S. strategic petroleum reserve after his Iran War crashed global oil supply.
Now the strategic reserve is at its lowest level since 1982.
Meet Natalie Harp, the aide so close to Trump she once rode in an SUV trunk to accompany him
“As the motorcade idled outside his Trump Tower residence, staffers confronted a more immediate problem: There wasn’t room for Harp, the hyper-loyal aide whose devotion to Trump had quickly entrenched her within his orbit.
A screaming match in the lobby ensued, with Harp insisting that Trump had personally asked her to attend the court appearance, two sources familiar with the matter told CNN. Denied a seat but determined not to be left behind, Harp jumped into an SUV trunk, according to the two sources and confirmed by a photo obtained by CNN.” W @adamcancryn

Cyclospora in our lettuce. Salmonella in our jalapeños. Massive recalls of food families buy every week. These outbreaks are exactly why food safety should never be political.
Instead, this administration cut the resources we rely on to find contamination and keep it off our shelves.
RFK Jr. oversaw a roughly 3,500-job reduction at the FDA.
When you reduce the people and resources responsible for inspecting food, investigating outbreaks and tracing contamination, you reduce the government’s capacity to catch problems before they spread.
Now we’re seeing the consequences.
This is outrageous. DHS spent $464 million taxpayer dollars on 10 used airplanes it said it “urgently” needed for deportation flights. Then it parked them.
You cannot make this stuff up.
Seven Boeing 737s have sat idle for months at an airport in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Why? An internal document says the agency does not have the staff to fly them. This is just nuts.
Three of the planes are luxury business jets, and one is now leased to the FBI so Director Kash Patel can travel in style, even though the FBI already has its own jets.
Another Gulfstream is reserved for DHS top brass.
One 737 got repainted in the color scheme of Trump’s new Air Force One.
They used a no-bid contract, claiming “unusual and compelling urgency,” an exemption normally reserved for war and natural disasters. The lucky winner was Daedalus Aviation, a firm that had never held a federal contract, whose chairman had donated to a political committee tied to then-Secretary Kristi Noem. The contract grew by $303 million dollars the very day her successor was sworn in. Now Noem and Mullin are each blaming the other.
Half a billion dollars for planes that do not fly, handed to a donor, so officials can borrow private jets.

It’s a mind-blowing thing to say - the current President of the United States is America’s enemy - but it’s true. Anyone doing what Trump is doing to our elections alone would be called our country’s enemy. Trump is our enemy. Treat him as such.👇 https://t.co/YjZFe4sajE
According to a report by The Atlantic, citing a Republican official in Congress, one of the primary holds-ups in the Trump Administration’s decision to license the production of air defense launchers and missiles to Ukraine, particularly the PATRIOT Surface-to-Air Missile System, has been the system’s designers Raytheon and Lockheed.
The official states that the two defense contractors “will officially frame their concerns around IP theft and tech transfer,” but “their real worry is that the Ukrainians will find a way to improve the PATRIOT and then produce them at scale faster and for much less money than what the existing production lines in the U.S. could do,” threatening manufacturers in the United States.
Rosie O’Donnell on Trump: “I told the truth that every New Yorker my age knows about him: he’s not a self-made man, he got his father’s money, he’s a grifter, he’s a logo-slapper, he’s not in fact a builder, his Apprentice days were all fiction sold as fact and people believed them. This guy’s a joke, he’s a used car salesman, he’s a snake oil salesman”
The only reason they brought Dr Fauci hate back in focus is because Trump and MAGA are losing MASSIVE support and they’re hoping their collective fabricated hate for Fauci will bring them back home.
Here is what I believe.
We have been separated by people who profit from our separation.
That is the business model. Keep us apart and sell us the fight.
Here is what that separation does.
People stop talking. They stop talking, so they stop knowing each other. They stop knowing each other, so they fear each other. They fear each other, so they hate each other. You break that chain at the first link, not the last.
I also believe there is one true existential threat to this democracy and his name is Donald Trump.
So I will sit down with anyone who has a platform and sees in Trump what I see.
That is why I sat down with Nick Fuentes. His views on race and women are antithetical to mine. What he has said about the Holocaust and Nazism is indefensible. He is also demonstrably persuasive and he has a bullhorn that no amount of cancellation has taken from him. A million-plus people listen to him. I wanted to hear it myself instead of reading what I am supposed to think about it.
Nick and I agree on almost nothing. We agree on Trump.
Nothing else we argue about matters if Trump is not stopped. And the people who see what he is do not all think like me. If your standard is that everyone who opposes him has to agree with you first, you have already handed him the country.
I will take one piece of common ground over ten more years of shouting across the same street.
