Already the sector brings $ 250M into Kenya, and has a potential of over $ 400M if we support value addition endeavors.

The two day Miraa conference is key in ensuring an evidence based conclusion in solving the problems facing the sector.

It will ensure we have an amicable conclusion on value addition of the product, marketing and solving uncoordinated government agencies policy of the crop, on how to effectively give money to the farmers pockets.

I Received a delegation of Sports ministry officials led by CAS Noor Hassan and PS Joe Okudo who inspected final refurbishment works on Kinoru Stadium. The Stadium is a great investment in the County which will play a key role in youth empowerment and talent development

Today, Governor Kiraitu Murungi has kicked off the BBI signature collection process in Meru by engaging with Youth from across the County.

As echoed by the Governor, the youth agenda is one of the key areas that is covered the BBI with National Youth Committee to be formed in a bid to address the youth issues. This committee will supporting young artists, sportsmen & women as well as young businesses.
