I’ve been looking for a Sr iOS engineer role more months. Just got another rejection for a position I “knew” I landed after 4 rounds of interviews. 😞 It’s a devastating and demoralizing feeling.

@JoshuaOgundu From what I’m hearing things will get worse (for tech folks) before they get better. Still a lot of “Zombie” startups with runway but no profits in foreseeable future. It’s definitely rough out here right now. The bright side, new companies are forged in these times.

@JoshuaOgundu Probably because he had no leverage in negotiations. Common trap unfortunately. Same thing that happens to music artists/labels. From what I’ve read he had been shopping the show for a while. Not sure what a solution looks like but pretty shitty when something blows up like that
