@Drinkofwalter@mrscienceteach Last year, my school had a full time sub. He was there every day to cover what needed to be covered and to help out with duties if no coverages were needed. It was amazing. Every school needs that.
I’ve been thinking a lot about how we can make teaching a more appealing profession. I want someone to want to teach my kids. What if public school teachers were tax exempt on their income as a teacher? Love to hear your thoughts
@JoePompliano Far more important will be what the content of this class is, how it is implemented, and what training will be given to the teachers tasked to teach it.
@PhilEchols I think it depends on how it’s being utilized by the school and even more importantly by the teachers in each room. A lot of Tier II instruction happens in WYMLA Phoenix Time on certain days, but we also provide leadership lessons to our entire student body on Wednesdays
If you start off with a point to prove and go hunting for statistics to prove that point you will probably find them. However, that doesn’t make you right because your process is backwards. I see this in so many news articles I read. Conclusions should come at the end.
