Today we looked at the landmarks we encounter on our daily walks. We sorted them into 2 categories & decided which were the most important to us. We then placed photos of the landmarks on our map. We will continue this next week #walkingcurriculum@perfinker@MrHarrisVP
Today we went on Part 2 of our ‘landmark walk’ for our #walkingcurriculum. We are going to take the photos we took on our walk and place them on a map of the community we are co-creating while sharing why these things are important to us @MrHarrisVP@perfinker

Today we discussed what our observations remind us of in our school yard and when we go on walks. We also compared what we noticed & how it was similar/different to other classes who are engaging in #KindergartenBioBlitz@MrHarrisVP@RangerRidley
Today students explored the various properties of ice and light through play & photography. Check out some of the photographs students took. Looking forward to seeing how the play develops over time. Thanks to @SuzanneAxelsson for the inspiration! @MrHarrisVP
Today Pea & Nut came to visit our class @FolkstonePS. Students are learning a lot about puppies & how to care for others, while developing empathy skills. Both Pea & Nut have special needs & will eventually need surgery. We enjoy learning from them! @MrHarrisVP @905_andrews
Today we went on a ‘wonder walk’ & asked many questions about things we wonder about. We wrote down our wonderings & compared our observations with others who are engaging with #kindergartenbioblitz. Interesting to see the differences #walkingcurriculum@MrHarrisVP@perfinker
