Erin Jackson Selected by her teammates to represent Team USA as a flag bearer at the 2026 Winter Olympics. She was the first Black woman to win an individual Winter Olympic gold medal in 2022 in the women's speed skating. She only the 9th American to do so.

Memorial Day stems back to ceremonies honoring the fallen of the Civil War. Over 1.3 million Americans have lost their lives during combat operations. 1/2 from the Civil War. So as we take a bite of that burger or splash into the pool remember those did not come back.
