We are into Woman's History month and just celebrated International Women's Day over the weekend, so what better way than to celebrate the amazing accomplish of the women on the US team earning 17 MEDALS, 6 of them Gold.

What better way to wrap up Black History Month and transition into Women's History Month than to celebrate the First Black US Women's Hockey player and the first to win a Gold Medal and bring it back to Ohio!- Laila Edwards! @laila_edwards

On Presidents Day, we celebrate Black History Month by honoring the 44th President Barack Obama who reversed the Great Recession of 2007, brought insurance benefits to millions with the Affordable Care Act, legalized same sex marriage and awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009.

Happy Presidents Day! What started as a way to honor President Washington in 1879, expanded to a federal holiday in 1971 to honor all presidents. So it is very fitting that for this weeks Black History Month post we honor the 44th President, Barrak Obama.

Happy Presidents Day! On a day established in 1879 to honor President Washington that evloved to honor all of the Presidents, it is fitting to showcase some of the accomplishments of the 44th President, Barrak Obama during Black History Month.

Erin Jackson Selected by her teammates to represent Team USA as a flag bearer at the 2026 Winter Olympics. She was the first Black woman to win an individual Winter Olympic gold medal in 2022 in the women's speed skating. She only the 9th American to do so.

With the Olympics Starting this week, it is a good time for our first Black History Month Post: Debi Thomas. Debi was first the African American to win a World Figure Skating title and the first to earn a medal at the Winter Olympics then went on to become an orthopaedic surgeon

Last nights #explorecinci took us to Great American Ballpark to watch our @cardinals take on the @reds in the 2nd game of the series. Did you know they have played each other over 2300 times. The first match up came in 1882, but back they the were called the STL Brown Stockings.

Memorial Day stems back to ceremonies honoring the fallen of the Civil War. Over 1.3 million Americans have lost their lives during combat operations. 1/2 from the Civil War. So as we take a bite of that burger or splash into the pool remember those did not come back.

Yesterday was Earth Day. The first Earth Day was celebrated in 1970, when a United States senator from Wisconsin organized a national demonstration to raise awareness about environmental issues. Efforts have increased forests by 7% since 1970.
