I also understand the stance taken by Dr Paul Tungwarara in as much as it has been received with mixed feelings , CHIKURU RUTENDO APOLOGISED TO THE FIRST FAMILY and the enabler deserves a golden handshake 🤝 .

Politics aside for a moment, dear comrades and friends . This gesture genuinely showed me the depth of this man’s love and loyalty towards His Excellency President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa and the First Family .

On the streets, this is what many would call a gentleman’s way of settling differences . Not every disagreement has to end in humiliation, revenge or endless hostility. Sometimes maturity means finding a way to settle matters with dignity and preventing situations from spiralling into unnecessary counteractions . I do not and will never support the attacks that were laid on the highest office of the Land .

I personally prefer this approach. We can strongly disagree, condemn what is wrong and still leave room for dialogue and reconciliation. Over-victimisation rarely heals wounds but it often deepens them .

Zimbabwe needs more mature conversations and fewer permanent enemies. Just as we all know , make no permanent enemies but establish permanent interests .

RE - Advisor Dr Paul Tungwarara and Mr Rutendo Mayinyarare Dialogue .. COMMENDING LEADERSHIP, UNITY AND RECONCILIATION IN THE NATIONAL DISCOURSE .

I have noted the public discourse surrounding the recent engagement between Dr. Paul Tungwarara and Mr. Rutendo Matinyarare.

As an individual dedicated to safeguarding Zimbabwe’s economic sovereignty, promoting national development, and advancing the aspirations of Vision 2030, I believe it is important that national issues be viewed through the lens of unity, reconciliation, and nation-building rather than division and confrontation.

Throughout his distinguished service, Dr. Paul Tungwarara has consistently demonstrated unwavering loyalty to the developmental vision of His Excellency, President Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa. His contribution to empowerment programmes, youth development initiatives, community upliftment projects, investment mobilisation efforts, and humanitarian interventions has touched the lives of countless Zimbabweans across all provinces.

His record of service stands as testimony to a leadership philosophy anchored on action, delivery, and a genuine commitment to improving the welfare of ordinary citizens.

I believes that true leadership is often revealed during moments of disagreement. It is easy to engage those who share our views; however, it takes confidence, maturity, and statesmanship to engage those who may hold differing opinions. Such an approach reflects strength of character and a deep understanding that national development can only be accelerated through dialogue, tolerance, and mutual respect.

Zimbabwe’s future cannot be built upon endless conflict and hostility. The achievement of Vision 2030 requires a united citizenry focused on economic growth, investment, job creation, infrastructure development, and the upliftment of communities. Every effort that promotes national cohesion and constructive engagement should therefore be encouraged.

I therefore view recent developments not as a matter of personalities, but as a demonstration of a broader commitment to peace, reconciliation, and nation-building. At a time when many choose division, gestures that promote engagement send a powerful message that Zimbabweans can differ in opinion while remaining united in their commitment to the country’s progress.

As a bonafied son of ZANU PF , I commend Dr. Paul Tungwarara for his continued dedication to the President’s vision, his commitment to empowering communities, and his consistent efforts to foster unity among Zimbabweans.

History will always remember those who chose to build bridges rather than walls, those who pursued dialogue instead of discord, and those who placed the interests of Zimbabwe above personal differences.

Let us remain fully committed to supporting all initiatives that strengthen national unity, advance economic development, and contribute towards the successful attainment of Vision 2030.

Comrade Douglas Mahiya is not one of those who merely read about the liberation struggle in books or learnt about it in classrooms. He lived it , He saw it , He fought and today he is a voice that represents those like him Who went to War .

He does not speak about the war from a position of theory. He speaks from experience. While many of us know the liberation struggle through history lessons and documentaries, Comrade Mahiya witnessed it with his own eyes. He answered the call of duty, joined the liberation forces and carried the responsibility of defending the dream of a free Zimbabwe alongside fellow cadres under the revolutionary high command.

He does not just talk about the war. He saw the war. He saw the sacrifices. He saw the hardships. He saw young men and women leave the comfort of their homes to fight for a nation they did not live to witness . He saw courage triumph over fear and patriotism overcome oppression.

When he speaks about the liberation struggle, he is not reciting history. He is sharing memories. That is why we must listen carefully to the voices of those who carried the burden of our freedom. They are living libraries of our nation’s history and custodians of the values upon which Zimbabwe was built. The liberation struggle is not merely a chapter in a textbook to Comrade Douglas Mahiya. It is a chapter of his life.

Much Respect to the freedom fighters . Respect to the patriots . Respect to the men who did not just hear about the war, but played their part in shaping the Zimbabwe we call home today.

Zimbabwe is blessed to have such a Leader , His Excellency President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has raised Sons and daughters who continue to inspire a generation coming .

Dr Paul Tungwarara has distinguished himself as one of the most loyal, dependable and trusted cadres of our generation. A steadfast Mujibha of the President, a man who has consistently demonstrated unwavering loyalty, discipline and commitment to the vision of His Excellency President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa.

Trust is not given but it is earned. Respect is not demanded but it is deserved. Dr Tungwarara has earned both through years of dedicated service, sacrifice and hard work. He has proven himself to be a man whose word can be trusted, whose commitment is unquestionable and whose actions continue to reflect the values of our revolutionary movement.

As a son of Bulawayo, born and bred in the City of Kings, I am truly delighted to witness empowerment programmes reaching our Ndebele brothers and sisters in every corner of Matabeleland.

What makes this initiative even more remarkable is that this empowerment is not being distributed along partisan lines. For the first time in our modern political history, His Excellency, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, through his Special Advisor on Empowerment and Investment, Dr Paul Tungwarara, is extending a hand of partnership and development to all Zimbabweans, including opposition supporters, councillors and Members of Parliament.

This is leadership that rises above political differences. This is nation-building in its purest form.

We are witnessing history being rewritten before our very eyes. A new political syllabus is unfolding in Zimbabwe one that places development before division, empowerment before exclusion, and unity before political affiliation.

A HISTORIC DAY FOR THE VETERANS OF THE LIBERATION STRUGGLE

Today will be remembered as one of the most significant days in the history of Zimbabwe’s liberation veterans. More than 5,000 patriotic Zimbabweans gathered at the City Sports Centre under the banner of the Mujibha Chimbwido Association Joseph Kandemire General Meeting in support of Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 (CAB 3).

The gathering was not merely a political meeting. It was a powerful demonstration of unity, gratitude and unwavering commitment to the ideals of the liberation struggle that gave birth to our independent nation.

In a landmark development that has never been witnessed before in the history of Zimbabwean politics, His Excellency President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, through Presidential Investment Advisor Dr Paul Tungwarara, unveiled a practical empowerment package for veterans of the liberation struggle across all ten provinces of Zimbabwe.

The empowerment package includes:

• 10 D4D Toyota Hilux vehicles, with one vehicle allocated to each Provincial Chairperson to enhance mobility and service delivery to veterans.

• Thousands of Hampers for all ten provinces to support veterans and their families.

• 10 Borehole drilling rigs and water development support aimed at improving access to clean water and uplifting communities across the country.

This historic intervention demonstrates that under the leadership of President Mnangagwa and ZANU PF, the sacrifices of liberation heroes are not only remembered but are being honoured through tangible empowerment programmes that improve lives and strengthen communities.

Special recognition goes to Cde Douglas Mahiya , Secretary for War Veterans , Ex Political Prisoners , Detainees & Restrictees League whose tireless dedication and unwavering commitment have made him a respected voice and steadfast advocate for war veterans throughout Zimbabwe. Through his leadership, the concerns and aspirations of liberation veterans continue to receive the attention they deserve.

We also salute Dr Paul Tungwarara, a loyal and patriotic son of the soil whose commitment to empowering Zimbabweans continues to transform lives. His practical approach to development, community upliftment and economic empowerment reflects the spirit of servant leadership and national duty. Across the country, communities continue to benefit from initiatives that bring development closer to the people.

The overwhelming attendance at the City Sports Centre sends a clear message that Zimbabweans remain united behind the vision of national development, empowerment and prosperity championed by President Mnangagwa.
